I think the funniest moment in the entire series was actually the generations film.... datas catchy little melody... Lifeforms. that and when they were crashing and he said his first profanity. timeless.
Best moment was Brent Spiner ad-libbing in "The Naked Now" when he fell backwards on the bridge (figured the fall would be edited out in post-production, but there wasn't enough to remove so it was left in)
Funny moment was also when Whoarf looked in the mirror at the end of that cowboy episode..and you hear the harmonica as he thinks about being a clingon cowboy.

Picard realized that his every brave and selfless move and his whole aspiration to become the best captain that Starfleet has, was because of that very moment and that if he tried to undo something he had previously seen as a liability in his life, it would all fall to pieces.
The moral I found in the story is: Don't see something in your life as something you would want to change, because everything has shaped you into who you are.
Tapestry is one of my favourite episodes. It's the best Q episode that's not Q Who or one of the ones where he puts humanity on trial, the best of the ones where is a kind of smart comic relief.
