i have had bullie breeds my entire life and just from my own experience from the breed there is no better dog in my opinion. i also have 2 kids a 5 and 8 year old and i would not like to have any other dog around my kids before a bullie. there is not dog more eager to please there master and i for one will probably never own another breed of dog. and you have a beautiful dog and i loved the vid keep up the good work..

Sharky is an awesome dog, no doubt, but that dog is waaay more American Staffordshire Terrier than anything... and correct me if I'm wrong, but Razors Edge dogs mainly originated with the UKC/AKC dual registered "Knuckles" and other Am Staffs. Those Mayday or Eli dogs, for example, are going to be much hotter.

And yes your right about the other lines being much hotter, but again if they are socialised and educated properly from about 10 weeks old they would be fine. The hotter types you mention should only be brought by people who have already got knowledge of the breed or already own a dog they can bring them up with if that makes sense? the dog will learn from the elder dog.

I like a dog with more drive and energy then that..but i admire sharky and the chick who owns him. And you can socialize a dog coming from game lines to interact favorably with other dogs, for the most part, who are also submissive and well socialized. But don't get it twisted, if they are around the wrong or strange dog under the right circumstances youll have chaos

the background i found about pitbulls, has surprisingly not much to do with fighting other dogs, or even being fighters, they were meant to help butchers take down bulls, they also have no lock jaw (i know this from experience) they actually have very powerful jaws, though, if you know how to handle them properly (again, experience) you can easily open their jaws

Great video and such a beautiful boy. He reminds me of a red nose pit i had named Bowser. I miss him very much :( Pits are wonderful dogs, i have owned 2 in the past and curently own one. they have giving me nothing but pure love. my curent boy Koopa is such a sweet guy, he's a big goofy baby that is pure love
the great thing about dogs is they dont need to be trained or bred to be your guardian they will do it when they have to because you have protected and loved them..its give and take 50 50 no matter the breed. i dont see why idiots think they have to bring out the aggression in the breed( because they are a terrier..like all terriers they have some aggression but when treated and trained with love they are normal happy loving dogs!) heck id walk into a house with a pit before a lab any day!

I own three pitbulls, I will never own another breed of dog. Never have, pitbulls are the most loving, loyal, and their willingness to please there owner is through the roof. I agree it is all in the way you raise the dog. I hate taking my dogs out and watching people act scared or start whispering.

I'm lucky where I live. In an English town, A pretty country based town. I can walk through here with a pit bull, Stafford, whatever dog I want and police won't ask a thing.

I've been a dog groomer for 6 years and I can't count how many times I've been bit by cocker spaniels, shih tzus , schnauzers, and FUCKING chihuhuas! But every time someone brings in a pit bull, I will drop everything I'm doing to help them, because they are the sweetest! We just painted a little female pit's nails red the other day. Her owner loved it! I love all pit bulls! -especially my Stewie dog.
My neighbors dog(which was NOT a pitbull) killed another dog in the neighborhood. You know how the newspaper reported it????..."A pitpull killed neighbors dog...etc" so dont believe everything you hear or read(even if its in the newspaper!)
I heard a similar story. A man decided to do an experiment, so he called the news station and told them he was bitten by a dog *I think he said a husky or a Samoyed or something* . They told him he didn't have anything news worthy. He called back later that day on a different number and said that he'd just been bitten by a Pit Bull. The same exact news station immediately said they'd like to run his story on the news. Bottom line : vicious Pits sell papers. America loves to hate Pibbies.

I really respect the fact that you are letting people know that pit bulls are a loving an caring pet. They don't need to be used for guard dogs, or as a status symbol. My pit is a rescue and the most loving animal you could ever ask for. Just because people choose to train certain breeds to be vicious doesn't mean you need to throw the whole breed under the bus. I will forever be an advocate for the misunderstood breeds such as pit bulls!

I'm lucky where I live. In an English town, A pretty country based town. I can walk through here with a pit bull, Stafford, whatever dog I want and police won't ask a thing.
I remember the first time I was stopped with Busta, I thought its because of his breed, but they just asked how we had trained him so well. :)

@502amandab well actually there no such thing as a pitbull... its either an American Pitbull Terrier, Amercan Staffordshire Terrier, or a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and from there its hard to impossible to know if its full or mixed other than know its parents... orfficial papers...

It's like staffys ): We have two, and they're scared of next door's king charles spaniel! They're soft as muck, and could never love us more (: But they have a reputation, and I've seen people trying to pick labradors up while walking them, it's pathetic. A dog can have any temprament, depending on how you raise it :/

I've been a dog groomer for 6 years and I can't count how many times I've been bit by cocker spaniels, shih tzus , schnauzers, and FUCKING chihuhuas! But every time someone brings in a pit bull, I will drop everything I'm doing to help them, because they are the sweetest! We just painted a little female pit's nails red the other day. Her owner loved it! I love all pit bulls! -especially my Stewie dog.

I heard a similar story. A man decided to do an experiment, so he called the news station and told them he was bitten by a dog *I think he said a husky or a Samoyed or something* . They told him he didn't have anything news worthy. He called back later that day on a different number and said that he'd just been bitten by a Pit Bull. The same exact news station immediately said they'd like to run his story on the news. Bottom line : vicious Pits sell papers. America loves to hate Pibbies.

I really respect the fact that you are letting people know that pit bulls are a loving an caring pet. They don't need to be used for guard dogs, or as a status symbol. My pit is a rescue and the most loving animal you could ever ask for. Just because people choose to train certain breeds to be vicious doesn't mean you need to throw the whole breed under the bus. I will forever be an advocate for the misunderstood breeds such as pit bulls!

People take pitbulls the wrong way because all you see on the tv is that they fight and are agressive. that only happens because of the way their master treats and disciplines them. In fact, they are less agressive than BEAGLES!!!! national geographic has said this and its COMPLETELY TRUE because i have ap itbull of my own and he cant be by himself for 2 seconds or he gets lonely. pitbulls are just best friends to anyone who wants to love them!

pitbulls are just big babies. its the owner's responsibility to raise them right, my rednose american pit has never bit me on purpose, he sleeps with me, walks everywhere with me, and he's great with my son and nephews. you gotta realise anything with a brain will know if its being fucked with or not. its simple, dont fuck with your dogs.
