I just love this sermon. Fr. Simon says Jesus calls God "Father" for a very unique and special reason. The reason has a distinct character and feature - like the distinct difference between that of a contract and a covenant. Although St. Thomas Aquinas said you can't apply gender to God, Fr. Simon explains why use "God the Father" instead of "God the Mother" as some people do. He also explains what is so unique and/or special when a man adopts a child! A great Father's Day sermon!
I love Father Simon's definition of holiness: his explanation that we are God's obsession, and that holiness is when God becomes our obsession.
