I don't get why you're all hating on Americans. Just because we have a bad government doesn't mean we're all evil greedy pigs. The allies did not help the polish uprising as they promised. After that the soviet union came and threw out the nazis, and integrated poland into the union. My point is that no country should think they did so much more during the war. every one did their part.

They threw 32 million troops at the nazis. They lost 11 million troops and 15 million civilians. They took on 80% of German forces. Sadly the soldiers were under the communist boot, and most of them returned to their home only to be imprisoned in a Gulag.

Yes there is a difference, as Russia was only part(albeit the largest part) of the Soviet Union at that time. So don't give credit for other ethnicites and people on to the Russians.

@Maldrend But yes the cavalry "uhlans" did use sables when they charged on small groups of infantry or artillery stations. I hope you know that the cavarly didn't charge tanks like it's written in some history books, which is just absurd and a lie. But yes the Germans were afraid to death of the uhlans charges and their sables.

Personally though, I LOVE the WWII songs. Especially when they get into specific battles. Love it!

The allies included Britian, Russia, and america. Also with some soldiers from other countries like canada, australia and such. and as it seems, you hate just as much as other people do. If you are interesed in world history, read up on it and don`t accept facts from other people, or make your own.

@strongman325 i was pointing out that almost every "free" country helped the allies to throw out the nazi occupiers. Poland did help, but if you listen to the song, you will hear something like "help that never came"
The allies did not help the polish uprising as they promised. After that the soviet union came and threw out the nazis, and integrated poland into the union. My point is that no country should think they did so much more during the war. every one did their part.

They threw 32 million troops at the nazis. They lost 11 million troops and 15 million civilians. They took on 80% of German forces. Sadly the soldiers were under the communist boot, and most of them returned to their home only to be imprisoned in a Gulag.

Yes there is a difference, as Russia was only part(albeit the largest part) of the Soviet Union at that time. For example, Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union during world war 2, and 9 million Ukrainians were killed in world war 2. Belarus lost 25% of it's pre-war population. So don't give credit for other ethnicites and people on to the Russians.
