@fenderstrat698 all aol and stripped type of performances use auto-tune. It really bothers me sometimes. Especially when they did it on the fray's lead singer's voice because they dont really use it on their records so it sounded really odd. Creed probably didn't have a say in in whether or not they used it.

@dudeman5291 yeah I agree Myles Kennedy doesn't have the power stapp has. Myles has a three range octave which isn't that impressive. Plus Stapp sings with much more emotion and energy. Now compare these bands to bands from 20 years ago and you simply cant because music and recording was much more artistic back then but this is probably some of the best music from our time.
@steelundergrounder Mykes has a for octave range. I personally like him better than Stapp. I think Stapp is good too but i prefer Myles' singing and Alter Bridge's music over Creed. They're both really great though
@vincentmack37 Because they did not give him time to let his voice rest. They recorded the album, promoted the tour, then went on tour all in a row. Imagine singing full blast everyday for like close to a year and imagine what it can do to someones voice. Scott will be back 100% for the 2010 tour.

Creeds an incredible band, And Tremonti's is one of the best guitarist ever! I found a new band that sounds similar to them call Dying To Live, you should give em a listen!
tremonti is one of the best guitarists to grace the music industry in it's whole history... i've no doubt at all that Tremonti could play set after set effortlessly without making a mistake
there aint no auto tune used here like, to use an auto tune peice of software, for example melodine, u must take a pre recorded peice of out of tune audio then manually make it intune, i dont like creed but you shouldent diss the dude for this, its an excellent performance, infact its awsum
And there are versions of autotune which can take live vocals and tune them by taking the CD version of the track and adjusting the out of tune vocals to sound more like the CD.

Dude autotune just tunes the voice to the believed nearest note. It doesn't work like playback does. For example if I sang a very sharp C# then the autone would twist it into a solid D. Scott does sing it differently here to the CD version, but every note he hits is pitch perfect. I love creed dude but this AOL session had autotune all over it.
Yeah of course it would. Autotune will hit the nearest possible note. So when people try to say it's not autotune because he sings sharp notes at the beginning.... They're wrong because he's hit some of the notes so badly that the autotune has moved it to what it thinks is the nearest note. I do love Creed though guys, don't get me wrong. My Sacrifice is my favourite song of all time.
@Powerofthecowboy Actually, I've worked with auto tune programs in the studio, and they seldom are chromatic, but in the key of the song. Every note he sings here is at least supposed to be in the song's key. So I doubt that a chromatic auto-tune would have been used. Go to 2:15, that certainly would have sounded different had auto-tune been used. Also 3:23. Sure, someone could be turning the auto tune on and off for those if it was planned in advance, but I don't feel it was used. It was pitchy

I'm a big Alter Bridge fan and I'm also a big Creed fan alternative music has been one of my biggest influence's in song writing. Both Myles and Stapp are great vocalist. I'm not gonna compare them but I think it's great to have creed back while Myles is working on his solo album. And no one can deny that Stapp actually looks really happy to be back with them! :)

this totally for the cash, we all know Alter Bridge hasn't been commercially successful although has a strong following with musicians who appreciate them. Creed is all about the dollar, they look disinterested at times any live show i've saw, almost bored. Dunno what the new album will be like, I don't know what they'll write that gravitates away from Alter Bridge material.
Myles and Scott are totally different vocalists. They have different voice types, with their own vocal styles, and I just never thought to compare them directly.
I just think they're both talented and offer their own sound.

Yeah of course it would. Autotune will hit the nearest possible note. So when people try to say it's not autotune because he sings sharp notes at the beginning.... They're wrong because he's hit some of the notes so badly that the autotune has moved it to what it thinks is the nearest note. I do love Creed though guys, don't get me wrong. My Sacrifice is my favourite song of all time.

@Powerofthecowboy Actually, I've worked with auto tune programs in the studio, and they seldom are chromatic, but in the key of the song. Every note he sings here is at least supposed to be in the song's key. So I doubt that a chromatic auto-tune would have been used. Go to 2:15, that certainly would have sounded different had auto-tune been used. Also 3:23. Sure, someone could be turning the auto tune on and off for those if it was planned in advance, but I don't feel it was used. It was pitchy

Scott Stop has always a TEMPO ISSUE with this song.
Slide from 3:30 the go back to the 1st chorus.
You'll hear that He speed up way more than the normal.

I'm a big Alter Bridge fan and I'm also a big Creed fan alternative music has been one of my biggest influence's in song writing. Both Myles and Stapp are great vocalist. I'm not gonna compare them but I think it's great to have creed back while Myles is working on his solo album. And no one can deny that Stapp actually looks really happy to be back with them! :)

I do appreciate the music but Creed were only great when they released My Own Prison. They had passion & amazing songs. It all went down hill after that when Stapp started faking it & counting the $. Human Clay half a good album, shame about WAWO. Weathered bit better except last 2 songs r absolutely atrocious & it mostly sounds fake. Lullaby & Don't stop dancing = puke. Don't get me wrong if Full Circle is an amazing album then I will say so. But not looking good so far.

Nothing wrong with me. I don't hate the entire band, I hate Stapps shitty vocals. Creed were amazing when they released My Own Prison. You have to be honest human clay , weathered were not as genuine as MOP. I can put them down if I want. If the new album is as good as the 1st album then I will say so. If its not then its all been 4 nothing. Thank u 4 agreeing AB is amazing I respect that. If Creed can be as good as in 1997-1998 then cool. But its hard listening to stapp wen myles is so good.

this totally for the cash, we all know Alter Bridge hasn't been commercially successful although has a strong following with musicians who appreciate them. Creed is all about the dollar, they look disinterested at times any live show i've saw, almost bored. Dunno what the new album will be like, I don't know what they'll write that gravitates away from Alter Bridge material.

Myles and Scott are totally different vocalists. They have different voice types, with their own vocal styles, and I just never thought to compare them directly.
I just think they're both talented and offer their own sound.
