this was awesome man. I totally understand where you're coming from with this. I wanted to do a comic in the vein of Jthm for awhile, but I eventually realized after struggling to get it going that even though I like that comic, that kind of story isnt what I should be doing, so I started a new project thats more me, and its just flying out of me. This is definatly an instant fav
Instant fave...this actually made me think about my own perception of my abiet underused material and ideas...and I think its true, I've found that ideas that are more connected to you pretty much take on a life of their own and write themselves whether you want em to or not...yeah. o.o
I get scared that by the time I learn all the technical skills, I'll forget that fire that came with each project when it was conceived. I think my comic will be the best start for me. It's less involved and it gets my ideas out to people.
My problem is I have 4 different developed ideas and I want to do all of them. 2 are projects that I'm holding back until I get enough skills or people to make it the quality I want it. The others are projects that I want to produce myself with Flash and Illustrator like a web comic.
Favorited...now, eveyone has story ideas in there head, not everyone can make a movie about them...but I'm intrigued, I would love to hear your steps that lead to "we are the strange" to completely come to film...
