36 Crazyfists - Felt Through A Phone Line (Live 11/14/06)

Ofcourse 36 were influenced by Deftones, they're great band. It's a good that they're. People will have different opinions when it comes to which band is "heavier" than another. Obviously 36 ain't about heavyness in your face fuck you blabla all the time. And they don't sound like deftones, both bands have their own "atmosphere" to their music. 36 til I collapse! LOYALTY.

P.s a deftones song with Brock or a 36 song with Chino would probably be the best thing I'd hear in the entire universe tho

This is my favorite song of theirs and yet they do the same here as when I saw them live and ruin it by not being able to keep the right tempo for more than five seconds at a time. Sounds piss poor for such a great song. At least singer says sorry for timing problems. Great band, Shit live.

I love this song, it means so much to me, and has helped me through alot. I love the chorus, especially, and I think Brock's writing is really, really strong on this record. "So we went after the crash, we step out alone. an undivided healing that swallows us whole" Just beautiful. "Rest Inside the Flames" is definitely one of their best records. Even though "Bitterness the Star" always will stand as number one for me.

@urameshiiiii you can see a little bit of deftones in 36cf though, they are just a heavier band. every band has it's influences, and it's very hard to be original with all the music that's been made already, eventually the combination of notes and beats will run out. :)
