  • @muffinzilla The Ring Modulation, the Chorus, the Tremolo effect...and of course that tone! He REALLY was a true genius when it came to making a song sound THAT much better than what it was on surface with all those lil gizmos and fx! :)

  • Respond to this video... Dime RIP ROCK FUCK

God is just putting together a Metal Super Group, Dime on Lead Guitar, The Rev on Drums, Cliff Burton on Bass, and Dio on Vocals

  • @WataboutBob101 lol, i cnt see dio singing along with dimes guitar

  • @WataboutBob101 Fuck the rev. He couldn't be waterboy for the other 3.

  • 2:34 best riff MUDAPHUCKIN' EVAH!

  • @canihaveanyname i shit myself when i heard it for the first time and i though DAMN DIMEBAG STRIKES AGAIN! SHIT

  • The faggat who killed Dime shouldn't of been shot he should've been tortured he killed the GOD OF GUITAR R.I.P DIMEBAG

  • Dime guitarist best guitarist.

  • @TheDorianTormak That i do not agree with. people can say what the want about "the greats" but dime is the greatest. "not trying to sound like a fanboy or anything" but dime just does things with the guitar nobody ever touched on. he had sounds and ideas that no one to this day has even had the balls to think of trying. not just in metal tho. he just was a great guitar player. he played what sounded good, not what theory would tell him to do.

  • @tylerzipperer

I kind of agree, Dime had so much fucking feel in his guitar playing it was unheard of. You can tell he really loved to play his music because he really made sure to put himself into it. He was one of the last few true musicians.

  • @peruntolski99 You forgot Down!

  • @Plemit Dimebag was never in Down.

  • @Plemit Dimebag was never in hellyeah.

  • that riff at 2;35 IS FUCKING SIIIICK!!! AHA :D *head bangs*

  • @TheDorianTormak BUT, I have respect for both of them because they were both extraordinary.

  • today at school they mentioned the death of John Lennon but nothing about Dimebag....motherfuckers

  • i love zakk and dime.

yeah zakks better at alternate picking and stuff, but dimes styles is just so defined. you know EXACTLY whos your listening too when he starts shredding

  • life comes and goes through the years but the love that dime gave us is the only thing that still feels real. remember where you come from.

  • @BillionPig little bit on the.... um.... UR AN IDIOT! 100 percent guarentee dime (ur god) wud tell ya.

  • dimebag without phil anselmo is like bud spencer without terence hill or jesus without his fucking cross

  • 1 guy missed the like button! hahah

  • dimebag is THE BEST guitar player of ALL time!!!!

  • This is the real fucking music!!!! Dimebags riff on 2:45 is just fucking awesome!!!! HE WAS THE BEST!!!!

  • The guitar playing is just epic, hail 90's style metal

  • @kasrikin btw this album cameout at 2004

  • @HammettGates I realized that, but their style is 90's metal. I know it came out in 2004 :P

  • The song is fucking epic!

  • I fucking love this band I fucking love pantera I fucking love down I fycking love superjoint ritual fuck off bitching people in the world of youtube

  • @hellfiremart check out a song called holy roller by throwdown you will like!!

  • Fuckin great. Love to hear Pantera's influence on this one (and many others on this cd). Dime playing like it were 1992 and Pat Lachmann does a Phil-like scream at 3:06 Damageplan was awesome, but they should have gone more back to basic... I just dont like the studio magic on some parts of this disc, but damn, these songs kick ass.

  • @rolfeijg2 are you talking about the electronic sound like in pride?

  • @KustomKulture420: Exactly. Of course it can be fun some time to do some electronics in metal. But I liked PanterA's raw sound a lot more than the sometimes a bit overproduced Damageplan. Don't get me wrong, it was an amazing album with some killer songs and riffs and Pat did a good job vocalling this record.

  • @rolfeijg2, I agree - particularly the song they did with Corey Taylor.

  • yeah, this came out in 2004, but the style of this music is very 90's that is like superjoint ritual...yeah they released stuff in the early 2000's but the style of music is a 90's style. it is not a big deal, it is just a fact so embrace it.

  • WE MISS YOU DIMEBAG

  • fuck yeah!

best of the motha fuckin best

  • strangely prophetic song.

  • wow this is awesome. i miss the 90's days in metal. thank you brother.

  • this is released in 2004, but you got a 90s metal guitarist playing it aka dimebag.

  • Well, technically he's an 80s guitarist!!

    /pedant ;-)

  • same

  • @bigmonkeyman44

    He's an 80s guitarist retard!

  • @zacharybrown2003

This came out in 2004!!! 90s? WTF?

  • @zacharybrown2003

    damageplan isnt 90's

  • @zacharybrown2003 This came out in 2004, but yeah, miss the good old days...
