hey i got a 2001 toyota tacoma L4 2.7 and im wanting to put a lift on it. how do you like your lift cause i was thinking of a 3" and how much power did you lose from the bigger tires? if you dont mind me asking i would like to hear back from you

hey sorry it took me so long to get back to you.. umm yes i absolutely loved my lift.. i didnt lose that much power and it made it look so much better and went so many more places...unfortunetly it is sitting at the dealership right now waiting to be crushed.. i got the recall but there being dousche bags about it and havent given me an answer about whats going on in over 4 months... im only 17 and they gave us a rental but u need to be 21 to use it.... make sense?

3" lifts are perfect for alot of small things. Tire size makes a huge difference in clearance too. If you run a 31 or 33...Cold air and exhaust and chip...you would be doin great. If you dont wanna go that route...Rear Gears is the best option. Google rear gear charts that will tell you a safe ratio for your rig with bigger tires. =)

you dont lose power they just raise your gear ratio. so you dont launch as hard. but theyll still fling some mudd

no ur right its the 2.7... you can really hear that its a four banger when ur in second gear around 5500 rpms

this sounds like a 4 cylinder 2.7L....am i right??? or is it the 3.4L??
