Ortiz has the size and power to KO Pac even though Manny would be the heavy favorite to win. Paul Williams (assuming he can still fight at 147) also has a nice shot at stopping Pac if they went toe-to-toe. But there is no welterweight in the world who can outbox Floyd Mayweather, Jr. I used to think Bradley and Williams could, but Tim is good but not great and Williams is way too open for counter shots.

First floyd demanded manny take blood test with a 24 day cut off manny agreed. Then floyd changed it to 14 manny not only agreed to 14 but 7 and right after in the dressing room. All you have to do is look at martinez's previous interviews when he's asked about pacquiao and mayweather. He said it himself they are too small. Ortiz has the size and power to KO Pac even though Manny would be the heavy favorite to win. Paul Williams (assuming he can still fight at 147) also has a nice shot at stopping Pac if they went toe-to-toe. But there is no welterweight in the world who can outbox Floyd Mayweather, Jr. I used to think Bradley and Williams could, but Tim is good but not great and Williams is way too open for counter shots.

Not saying they will, but it's a possibility. Floyd is on a whole different level than any other welterweight when it comes to boxing. It's not even close. The only way Pac can beat Floyd is to knock him out which is possible but when it comes to just pure boxing, Floyd has a big edge over any welterweight.

All you have to do is look at martinez's previous interviews when he's asked about pacquiao and mayweather. He said it himself they are too small. What martinez is trying to do is make his name bigger. I'm not mad at that but who is going to respect a middleweight calling out a small welterweight? Again go and look for yourself. Yeah but you're talking about a welterweight aganist a natural middleweight. Their styles would be good but Martinez said himself just a few moths ago that manny was too small for him. Manny had to drop back down in weight aganist margarito because he just couldn't make the 150lb weight limit. Martinez said he couldn't drop below 154 physically it wouldn't be good. I can't respect a man who calls out smaller guys to fight when he can fight about 5 other men in his own weight class.

Their styles make a good fight but physically they don't match. One feels sluggish going up and the other feels drained going down. How come Martinez doesn't call out Ward or the other middleweights? Why do you think he is calling out a small welterweight? Manny is 147lb when he's fight but he's about 140-138lb walking around. Martinez is 175lb walking around. Again the only fight people care about is pacquiao vs mayweather and floyd is too scared to lose he's stalling hoping manny slows down.

Doctors and the boxing comission said drawing blood from them for two months wasn't necessary. Floyd decided to demand more blood tests from manny after he saw manny's interview after his 1st fight with morals. Floyd saw that manny blammed giving extra blood before the fight is what caused him to lose. So it was either manny take the tests that floyd demanded and go into the fight mentally at a disadvantage or refuse and look like he's hiding something. This was floyd's plan.

Manny looks disappointed because he wanted the fans to enjoy the fight. How can anyone blame a person because their opponet doesn't want to fight? I do have respect for shane not just because he's a legend and fought everybody but atleast he had the heart to fight manny without any bulls*&$ demands like unnecessary blood tests. Floyd doesn't think manny is dirty but he knows if he doesn't have some type of edge going into the fight he will lose. An edge can be physical as well as mental.

Manny trained harder in this fight than any of his previous fights because he knows how strong and experienced shane mosley is. But when shane got hit in the 3rd round the look in his eyes was shock and defeat. Shane was wise enough to know that if he traded with manny he was going to get knocked out. Believe floyd studied this fight and is still going to duck manny. Shane's whole style is to come forward and trade. Shane took floyd's best shots. Manny had him running from just two. Says a lot.

Floyd is only returning to the ring because he owes the irs. He will pot shot ortiz and win on points in a boring fight. Ortiz took berto's best punches and won the fight. Floyd numbs his hands. Anyone who doubts this just go and look at de la hoya vs mayweather 24/7. I think floyd worked it out with jerry jones to have his hands numbed in Texas. If floyd k'os ortiz de la hoya paid him to take a fall so they can have more power during negotiations with manny.

Pacquiao looks just as pissed as the fans. Running has nothing to do with age. If Shane had a pair of balls surgically attached before the fight we would had fireworks in the ring. Another black fighter makes Pacquiao look bad. Giving pachaters aka flomo nutt huggers, more ammo.

@TheLonesomeChef The thing is, when fighters get older, they're less apt to want to take punishment. Shane shouldn't be in the ring anymore is the bottom line. I mean the guy took shots from a prime Vernon Forrest and still kept it coming. That's the difference between a 30 year old Shane and a 40 year old Shane.

@dericpajalla Honestly, I don't want him to fight JMM again. I think that point has already been proven. And this won't be the same JMM that he fought before. This will be a 38 year old version of him that has slowed down considerably and been in alot of wars since then. And it will also be at a weight that we know JMM can't carry. The 3rd match should have happened right away back in '08, not 3 years later. But see Pac will win and they'll say "see! We told you Manny was better all along".

You have a point. The only fight out there that matters is pacquiao vs mayweather but floyd doesn't want this fight, he never did. All of the accusations and retirements where just a way to stall and eventually get out of it. But the people won't let it go. Throughout floyd's entire career if there was a fighter the people wanted to see him fight he thought he could lose to he either took a break or retired and he's only 34. That's why he ducked cotto and margarito a few years back. Now manny.

@BOXING101ification True. I remember back in '06, he was offered Baldomir and Margarito for basically the same amount of money, and he took Baldomir. I didn't mind that at the time cuz Baldomir was the lineal champ. But then after he beat Hatton in '07, the next logical opponent was Cotto who had just beat Mosley and Floyd "retired". Notice he came back after Mosley, Cotto, and Margarito all had beat each other up. And even then his first fight back was Marquez. They're both guilty of this.
