That happened to me as well, The bird few into my windscreen, and then bounced onto my helmet. Only doing around 45mph. The worse thing to hit me, Was a big hard bug, It hit my helmet while going 80mph on the interstate, Sounded like a 5.56 rifle going off, Thought it was a rock at first, What a mess. Talking about being woke up call. Never a dull moment while riding. BTW that looks like a Meadow Lark , Or Field lark as some call them..
