My mother told me back in the middle 20th century, to about the early 1970's sellers of products had there own installment plans. They were clear, no legalese, low interest, and so on. Maybe we should save to buy things. I know easy for a disabled or poor guy to say if he rents an apartment, buys used from owner used cars, or use mass transit and bicycle , pay friends or neighbors coworkers for rides, etc. Live with less, find more happiness in life, the little things..whatever

Liz is a fine person. But I am sorry to tell her that the "invisible hand" has been withering, making life miserable for, shortening life spans, of common working and middle class people since the notorious usurious  money lenders in ancient Rome or prior in history for all i know(Roman money lenders, not Jewish ones. most Jews are not usurious money lenderers. I wish that we would listen to more academics. Dr Warren is one of the best. She understands whats going on in this country and knows the solutions because she has been educated. She is a professor. She can educate us on what to do instead of telling us.

This woman is excellent. When you even have AEI trying to support simplification, this seems to be an issue that only the most retrograde conservatives could oppose. We need to stop killing the middle class in this country and this is a good place to start.
