Explosives would cut the beams, not propel the beams. You would need simultaneous explosions of such a volume that so much explosive material would not be practical.

Massive girders were thrown laterally by the very same force that forces wood blocks to fly laterally when an axe is dropped from above.
The building was collapsing at such a force that those steel beams were easily thrown out laterally.
Explosives would cut the beams, not propel the beams. You would need simultaneous explosions of such a volume that so much explosive material would not be practical.
Gravity is, by far, the greatest force in a CD, not the explosive.

Steel melts at a temperature of almost 2800 degrees Fahrenheit. Kerosene (jet fuel) burns at about 1500 degrees (F). Therefore, kerosene cannot burn hot enough to melt steel. Jesse should have simply stated that instead of referring to the 'massive girders being thrown 500 feet away'.

Once the collapse was initiated, the increasing mass exceeded the load bearing weight of each progressive floor beneath it. As the collapse continues down, the collapse reached a point in which total collapse couldn't end

Actually, the world does not hate the US for what it is doing, but that they are so politically afraid to do what we are doing.
there is a reason they are not a super power. There is a reason they depend on us for defense. There is a reason why they send 35 soldiers to the Middle East.

Maybe they are not politacaly afraid, maybe they do not need to spread their empire the way US is spreading theirs. US is definitely a superpower but it would be great to use that power the right way. I live in a small country that also sent some soldiers to Afganistan/Iraq but we people did not send them .. our officials did, there was never a refferendum on this matter at all.
