Very interesting question. Here is another thought: Obama wouldn't even qualify for a security clearance if he was an every day American trying to get a government job that required a clearance. This would be due to his familial connections in foreign countries. But if elected President, he will have access to all of our national intelligence. Do we even want to elect somebody into the position of President who under normal circumstances would be considered a security risk for a clearance?
