  • Very nice video! Good audio quality, too!

  • if only i was born 10 years earlier

  • me gusta

  • this... KICKS ASS! both the band and the song... and the video too!

  • kickin ass

  • Brings back memories this. Seen them loads of times, real good band and nice people.

  • I saw them last night open up for bright eyes. They were great. Punk rock is so funny. Fun fun fun.

  • I feel good now- perfect thing for a rainy day

  • I've seen them twice and this song makes me feel HAPPY.

  • this music is a revelation to me

  • great post thank you

  • i went to there concert yesterday

  • i know mac

  • @mimifilm *bows down*

  • @heyjude97 i laughed so hard when i saw your response!!!!

  • i love me some Superchunk. thanks for posting this.

  • MY U TUBE WONT WORK

  • they were like 22 when this song came out and not everyone likes metalcore. i think that counterargument will suffice.

  • well, besides some of the sarcastic comments about whos this and whos that, these guys are awesome

  • Saw these guys in Chicago in the early 90's. Completely awesome.

  • If you don't like these guys, you definitely don't get it. These guys to indie are the Nirvana of Alternative, the Cure of Goth. Without a doubt. From the driving chord progressions to the great lyrics and the ultimate cheezy licks, these guys (and girls) are the freakin' greatest. But what would you want from someone who was probably born after the band was, widen your horizons people, these guys ROCK!!!!!

  • @DoctorSapperstein

well aren't you just a miserable cunt. =)

  • @DoctorSapperstein fuck yourself IWEAR CONVERSE ALLSTARS & DOC MARTENS & I LIKE TO ROCK & IM IN MY 40s!! ,now go back to your lady gaga record

  • THIS IS AWESOME HOLY SHIT.

  • they are kind of like that band School of Rock from the movie, but grown up and with shit jobs and bad attitudes, and much more expanded puck rock record collection.

  • planet fucking radio !!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • reminds me of Another Girl, Another Planet by The Only Ones.

  • great band, great song!!!

  • i just looked these guys up cause my dad just told me he went to school with one of the members. they're not that bad

  • which one? Jim, Jon, Mac, Laura, Chuck, Jack?

  • no fuckin clue, bro

  • Bob, Frank, James, Garry, Harry, Larry, Mary-Ann Loo?

  • ¿¿¿¿¿¿

  • Not that bad? They wrote the book on being "indie"!!! Superchunk rules!

  • your father was right ,greatness at its best

  • I love this song but could never understand the words clearly. So I googled the lyrics and learned the inspiration behind the song. Then I went to a Kinkos in Monroeville, PA to fedex an important package. The useless smartass behind the counter was truly a slack motherfucker....and I loved the song even more.

  • Thank you for this!!

  • Unreal. You did a great job at capturing the live experience... thanks thanks thanks... Saw them 10 times .

  • Saw them at Coachella yesterday. Shit was fucking awesome.

  • Love the Gibson Marauder.

  • totally!

  • fIREHOSE used to cover this song back when both bands were in their prime. '91-'93???.

  • I asked the band at my wedding reception if they could do a cover of this. No dice. Probably a good thing.

If you ever are feeling sorry for yourself, drive on over to an all night Kinkos. Cure you in a second.

  • this song used to drive me NUTS!

  • fIREHOSE's live cover of this blows it away, check it on LastFM.

  • i almost got to see them in chapel hill which is where i used to live....but i had to go to work...FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!!!!!! >:( (i'm still bitter)

  • im going to see them in a week cant wait!

  • dude Latterman must listen to a shitload of Superchunk man

  • superchunk lives...

  • I'm workiiiiiiing BUT I'M NOT WORKING FOR YOU!

  • Aw damn!! Great song man. Havent heard anything from yas in so long, it was nice to hear this now of all times. {5}

  • This song is the freakin best and this video totally captures the insane energy of Superchunk shows, love it!!!

  • This is so great. I'm envious of anyone who has ever gotten to see them live.

  • I saw them on a boat, in Paris. It was waaaaaaayld. They were jumping around like crazy, the boat was rocking... Detroit Has A Skyline was pure killer and Laura Ballance asked me how you say "T-shirt" in French (the answer is "T-shirt"). Good, great memories !!

  • you're an idiot. not only are you ignorantely homophobic, but also if you don't like Superchunk, nobody's forcing you to listen to it, but i think they kick-ass and so does this video.

  • If you are going to get upset, it is best to correct your spelling i.e ignorantly, before posting dude (often get more creditability that way !) Peace

  • Don't forget about proper punctuation.

That typically takes the wayside here in

    the Youtube commenting sphere.

  • No. Trapt are gay. Staind are gay. Chevelle are gay. Radio rock is, as you put it...

    gay.

Now go about on your way seeking out your Korn or rape rock channel and consider this snippet the closest you will likely get to legitimate culture that a pea-brained twit such as one's self will ever approach.

  • those bands arent homosexual, they are mainstream garbage.

  • I know.

I was merely satirizing the previous poster's uncouth polemic knowing he/she had no legitimate basis for comparison.

    Long live the Chunk!

  • awesome!

  • This song fuckin' ROCKS!!!!!!

  • totally agree tubeguy, i was at uni in the UK in the early 90s and the US invasion Sebadoh, Pavement and Superchunk...amongst others...for so many of us it was the whole 77 punk thing... love it

  • I remember Pavement for their odd meters; not too many were experimenting with the stuff. The guy I played bass with loved to tweak our songs with 5's and 7's; came out great in the end...

  • This is the sad state of the music vids on you tube. Eight comments for this mousterpiece...

  • agreed....WOW! seeing this made me smile! Seen em' live in the early 90's & is still one of the best concert's in my memory.=~)

  • Yea? Where did you catch them?

I remember seeing them somewher in the Bay Area when I was just starting to play my instrument

  • Saint Andrew's Hall in Detroit & they opened for The Descendents. Got kicked in the head by a stage-diver & I still have a signed songlist from The Descenents..it was a good concert!

  • I snatched a song list at a Shonen Knife show in the early 90's , but I've moved so much it never did survive. It wasn't signed but it was hilarious

  • i forgot this song existed! made my day - thanks for posting.

  • impresionantes...grupazo

  • Great performance this song is awesome!!!!thanks for posting!!!

  • fucking huge!

  • Could you pl. also upload "for tension" - if available?
