great cover man. the only thing I would say is on the riff where it goes D-A-A# or at about the lyrics-to assume from ignorance- I like to play on the F string (G in standard) insted of 0-0-1 i play 0-0-5. I like to let the strings ring. I like the feel of it(same for when it's repeated) but still great cover man!

in the opening riff he doesn't use the 7 9 9 6 8 8 chords starting on the a-down tuned to g string it's actually starting on the open low e/d string 0 2 2 4 chord and then starting on the a string it's x 1 1 3 instead of goin 7 9 9 and 6 8 8

I'm using a Carvin 412T cabinet with Carvin GT12 speakers in it.  From what I've heard, they're made by Eminence, but modeled after the Celestion Vintage 30 "greenbacks". They are no longer available, and they sound incredible. I'm totally pissed because I'm going to have to sell the cabinet soon. Single parent, college student, blah blah blah. Anyway, if you ever see anyone selling these speakers on Ebay, buy them quickly. Carvinites are looking for them all the time.

I use size 10 for "E" tuning, size 11 for "D" tuning, and size 12 (hard to find) for "C" and "B" tuning. I ALWAYS use D'Addario, and all death songs are in "standard D". All the tunings for all the videos I put up are in the descriptions of the videos.

Anything off Symbolic or Perseverence I would recommend. They are all fun to play, but you can hear his notes more distinctly on the last two albums. After you get a feel for his style, it's easier to hear what notes he's hitting on the earlier albums, which aren't recorded nearly as well.
