  • Cheap bastards these people are, shame.

  • I hope Mark Kermode hangs himself. Tosser.

  • Gary is a trip! Funny! Can you imagine walking along and stumbling on DPT playing like that?! I would have gone all out concert fan on them... pleading them to play all of their songs... and probably coming home broke trying to pay to keep them playing! (SMILES!). It would be one of those stories you would tell, and nobody would ever believe you..."YEA RIGHT... DPT was playing in the street...."

  • Gary, the drummer (L)

  • hahaha Gary is ace!!!

  • Cheers, mate (:

  • This might sound retarded, but what song do they play at 1:35?

  • Oliver's Army by Elvis Costello and the Attractions. The song is a lost classic, but please don't feel too "retarded", as you put it, as the song is thirty years old and was never given any sort of anthemic status. Cheers!

  • 'Gary the drummer makes off with the profits'

    hahaha

    brilliant.

  • the way Libs recorded with all the instruments at the same time captured more of the energy of the band

  • barkmarket are tuneless pointless shite so many bandssound like them but better

  • yeah thats why i mentioned up the bracket. the badly rehearsed thing is a tribute to the diy ethics of punk.

if you cant find barats influences doesnt that suggest originality because he is more than just the sum of his influences. are you a clash fan then?

  • he's certainly more original. you have some serious hate issues! im just trying to have a good argument with you and you just insult me! I've got nothing against you i just enjoy discussing these bands with you. But I'm willing to believe you don't own any BBS, DPT or LIBS records. between me and my dad we own frank zappas entire back catalouge. almost.

  • I dont care if it was Rhetorical and it was only mastered in Glasgow and mixed in London i was there in LA. What i meant about Zappa was that he made novelty songs most of the time. Up the Bracket is way better then any of zappas records.

  • Oh and having also seen Dpt live they are easily as good as on the record.

do you just go around leaving hate mail on the bands you dont like? Frank zappa was Brilliant but he kind of sqaundered his gift. still he made some good records: wrmf, lather.btw i will now listen to dpt and show it to my children so they live on just to spite you.

  • My uncle is Dave Sardy i was there when they recorded theyre first album, if you dont know who he is look it up TWAT. oh and frank zappas been dead for years.

  • Have you seen them live?

    They're fantastic.

  • Yeah theyre gigs are wild!!

  • No the Libertines, Dirty Pretty Things and Babyshambles are famous for recording everything except for vocals live.

  • Actually FWI they play every album live in the studio so there's no room for gloss
