  • pisses me off. i would really like this as a cover if whoever the fuck tried to steal it attributed it to Ton & Sergio. i like the original and this version. just pisses me off its not stated as a cover.

  • @ledzeppelin4485 a lot of NASA's shit is from oldschool brazilian and hiphop shit that's not as well-known as it deserves to be. the first song in the album "intro" kinda brings it up. or read the wiki

  • @ledzeppelin4485 its not a cover, its a totally different song

  • @1csar1 perhaps the lyrics are different. melody and backround are almost exactly the same as the song by ton & sergio

  • @ledzeppelin4485 LOOK UP WHAT A SAMPLE IS IDIOT!

  • @ledzeppelin4485 totally different song????? You may have an audition problem...

  • @Vj1terra YES IS A TOTALLY DIFFERNT SONG, BEACAUSE OF THE CREATIVE PROCESS AND EVERY ASPECT THAT THE MUSICIANS IN THIS PROYECT CONTRIBUTED, READ ABOUT THE N.A.S.A PROYECT THEY JUST WANT TO DO MUSIC! AND THEY CLEARLY SAID THAT THEY TOOK A LOT OF SAMPLES FROM BRAZILIAN MUSIC, BECAUSE THEY LOVE THAT AND THEY JUST WANT TO CREATE SOMETHING NEW! I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY YOU DONT APPRECIATE THAT

  • @ledzeppelin4485 Because its not a cover! its a fucking sample! big difference. same thing as when John did the song, Before the Beginning on his album the Empyrean which was inspired by Funkadelics Maggot Brain. get the fuck over it, its all beautiful works of art.

  • u ever heard of sampling? theres no way anyone as good a musician as frusciante would make a work that obviously plagerized

  • @mv734131 Yeah! i dont know why these people are talking about plaggarism.... Frusciante has made so many f!"·$ awesome songs trough the years that i find that is no reason to judge him, just enjoy the song sufridores!

  • all Rza's fault...!

  • FRUSCIANTE IS A HOAX. NO NEED TO STEAL THE MUSIC OF OTHERS. YANKEE THIEF.

  • @futurama61 die

  • @futurama61 until you delete the spewings of your dumbass mouth i hope people continue to tell you hwo stupid you really are. it's called fucking SAMPLING! educate yourself before you open your mouth and make yourself look stupid.

  • Blatant plagiarism. Theft is a song from Brazilian duo Ton & Sérgio. Should make them feel ashamed. Not mention the real authors of the music.

  • @futurama61 youre dumb.

  • This song is a plagiarism of "vou sair do cativeiro" of the Brazilian duo Ton & Sergio, check it on YOUTUBE,

    no credit, what a shame!!!

  • @tropicaliadiscos once again, you are a complete fucking moron. look up what a sample is idiot, please educate yourself before you open you mouth.

  • bellissima!

  • One of the first videos to make me cry in a long time..

  • most intense vid i've ever seen, nasa videos are all AMAZING

  • @matbmx1 That's RZA, one of the original members of the Wu Tang Clan. And I've heard they are not something to fuck with.

  • @matbmx1 whats funny is the rapper, Rza, is really inteligent and is a legend and also one of the greatest lyricist.

  • @Smokinpurple86 Cool story bro. I dont think I could care less

  • @matbmx1 and we couldn't care less of how you deliberately tried to shame the name of RZA

  • justin beiber hade created 14 accounts for dissliking this video 14 time :D

  • I exist in the deepness of your dreams No exaggeration, you trapped in my infatuation I'm like a wire tap that's strapped to your imagination Years of love, tears of blood You was up in club like beers and drugs Now I'm trapped in limbo with your golden fist symbol To see the soul, use my eyes for a window Only if I could escape from this loneliness The assault of your love is felonious It was the kiss that broke my narcissist Still I roam this Earth like the Prince of Darkness.RZA is God!

  • @Dzamuna THANKS ... MATE.. Wutang coming through typing style and so on i break thru...With the quickiness and blissness...got u thinking i wont win this.... W

And why I still notice some hatred , i mean CMON two of the greatest artists of all time . . .

Freedom , freedom of speach , freedom of thoughts

  • Amazing art for the video. The RZA kills it once again

  • JESUS CHRIST LOVES YOU ALL BEYOND END OF WORLD

  • "california is sinking" oh fuck! isnt it though

  • I really like the beat, the girl's voice, and the John Frusciante-guitartune that makes the song complete and puts an other dimension to it.

  • awesome !

  • fuck yeah RZAAAAA!!!

  • @TTreptiles

    RZA= the king

  • sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

  • John frusciante es el mejor. The best guitarrist

  • Perhaps the video leans towards gang violence, but that itself can be seen as but the result of the boy's trickery in a different context.

  • RZA goes on, as "The Boy", to call himself the "Underground King". He is "heard and not seen" and exists within dreams and imagination. I believe the point presented here is that this boy, the Devil, is not to be seen as a being but one's own will and impulse to act maliciously. He says "You was up the club like beers and drugs", presenting his means of action.

  • The "boy from under the ground" is the devil. He calls upon the girl to take up his ideals, just as the world around (California, as the song put) is. She complies.

Subsequently, her "loves", be they lovers, loved ones or simply objects and aspects of life she adored, are disappearing, leaving but "dust". The boy informs her that it's too late to turn back.

  • 'Twas Barbie Hatch herself who stated on her MySpace that the song was about a girl in love with/seduced by the devil. I'm afraid I lack a link, but please, take my word.

  • RZA then takes the stage as the Boy, calling himself the "Underground King", another hint that he is the devil. The line "only heard and not seen" refers to his nature as thoughts and impulses, not a person to directly approach. This is supported by the lines "I exist in the deepness of your dreams" and "I'm like a wire tapper strapped to your imagination".

The means, or at least some, by which he destroys one's life is explained in the line "You was up the club like beers and drugs"

  • I can see why you'd think that, especially with attention devoted to the video, but listen to the lyrics. The "boy from under the ground" is the devil.

  • Such a brilliant video. Great song too!

  • is this supposed to be Crips and Bloods?

  • @StanOfGB

I suppose it could be interpreted that way. The song doesn't speak directly regarding gang violence. It's about a girl who falls in love with the devil, only to be left burdened and regretful. How you interpret that is up to you.

  • @OvaNineThousand a girl falling in love with the devil? How'd you arrive at that? I see red birds vs blue birds killing each other (with gang tattoos) and there were 2 birds one blue and one red who stick together and dont fight. So I think it is denouncing gang violence.

  • @StanOfGB he was talking about the song.

  • the guitar riff sounds so funky

    i love this

  • 1:22 the bird with a "Cop Killa" tattoo? Makes the video and the whole thing just more awesome! :D

  • 10 people aren't ready for the apocalypse, they're still living under a F**** ROCK!

  • North America South America

  • does anyone know what n.a.s.a is? its hard to find info on it ive been looking

  • @EddyCurryFan I think n.a.s.a. stands for North America South America.. I'm pretty sure they have their own Youtube page somewhere... also had background and making-of footage on it. A bit of googling should get you started

  • love the gang reference

  • I really wish there was a guitar solo or something that would showcase more of Dr.John 'FaceShredder' Frusciante, i liked it nonetheless

  • this makes me want to melt with delight. Very chill :)

  • This is about Bloods and Crips right? And how Latin Kings are at the top? Because of the Golden Bee at the end?

IDK anything about gangs, but that is just what I understood from it.

  • the best lyrics ever possibly here?

  • Beautiful.

  • mature hiphop!

  • Nate Principato killed it with this song

  • are these mash ups jw?

  • @LightingRasengan ... not mashups. it's an album of collaborations...

  • love this tune!

  • what is the signifigance of the yellow bee? the latin kings watching as the bloods and crips and friends merc each other?

  • @lokimagd How about the butterflies?

  • @dubey666manu probably just civilians?

  • @dubey666manu probably just civilians? or beter yet the souls of lost ones

  • @lokimagd Wow. Thanks...it's all clear not. How could i've not seen that.

  • fuck, I`m seriously cryin` right now...beautiful.

  • @wund3k same .

  • @wund3k nie płacz mundek ;)

  • far out.

  • this has to be the best music video i have ever seen.

the cell shading is just as good as something out of okami (2006 IGN game of the year)

plus the song is really good

  • 187 means murder. It's not exactly a cryptic code.

  • @kk448 yeah, well people need to stop saying Romeo and Juliet cause this video has nothing to do with that

  • @FalconsPride48

Nothing to do with Romeo and Juliet?

A bunch of angry birds then?

  • @ashers2ashers lol no, read all the other comments. gang violence, specifically bloods n crips in SoCal

  • @FalconsPride48

The story of Romeo and Juliet is related to gang violence- two lovers who die because their families (Montagues and Capulets) are in a death feud and associations between the two families end in violence, like it is with the bloods and crips. Why did you think the RZA blue jay and the one cardinal were always shown together without any violence?

  • @KOSrater yep I read the whole play in my English class last year and the story or romeo and juliet is LIKE gang violence. yes, you can relate the two subjects but this video has absolutely nothing to do with Romeo and Juliet. The 2 birds were shown togther because often there might be friends in opposite gangs, i'v seen it b4. and their depicting how quickly things can go from peaceful to an all out war. this video uses symobolism but not for Romeo and Juliet

  • Comment removed

  • @FalconsPride48 you don't know what 187 means!! no disrespect, but that is as common as 420! You do know what 420 means?? I knew what 187 meant when i was 6, and i bet 95% of people do too

  • @smp2191 um fuck off and get that dick out of your mouth, most people actually dont know what 187 means just like 808...420 is obvious. and 187 means homicide, dont get in my face telling me I dont know what im talking about. This song talks about the gang voilence in Cali hence "Califronia is sinking" and the term 187 originated here cause the cop code for 187 was used in Cali first, then detroit. Do your homework the next time you call someone out

  • That was some straight up gansta Romeo & Juliet shit right there. Damn N.A.S.A. has got the goods!

  • plain awesome & nice visuals

  • diabolically beautiful

  • so sick, bloodz n crips

  • Sweet

  • @deadlypalms

Rza's a dope rapper. Who do you like?

  • @deadlypalms Wow your fukking stupid. Rza is 1 of the rappers of all time

  • @freshdaily818

RZA is indeed 1 of the rappers of all time. No one can deny that.

  • @deadlypalms Moron. RZA is the shit.

  • @deadlypalms Really bruh... Seriously, who do you listen to?

  • esta mierda me pone los pelos de punta

  • this video is really awesome

  • Rza or NASA rapping?

  • ?

The RZA was the last verse, his rapping.

  • nasa doesnt rap...thats rza

  • ahh well thank you for that information, John clearly was influenced by RZA's trademark sound. sorry for not knowin my facts, you should check out that version of walls too and note the similarities.

  • @zacman, that "sound" @2:43 is RZA's vocals doing his Bobby Digital trademark sound. He's been doing that since 1998 on his alter-ego B.O.B.B.Y. Digital albums. Wu-Tang Forever!!!!!

  • DUDE that sound at 2:43, John uses the same voice synthesizer on a live version of Walls. bet you didn't think that was vocals!

  • Yeah, that's RZA dude, you got that one totally wrong lol

  • @zacman182 thats rza doing Bobby Digital vocals at 2:43.... yo yo it must be Bobby, oh no it must be Bobby! haha rza is dope!

  • Adoro essa musica!!

  • Pod crer!

  • mad beat... mad guitar...mad vocals... mad clip

    MAD SONG!!

  • who killed sgt pepper?

  • this song rocks major!

  • This song reminds me of West Side Story a little

  • production genius!

best composed piece of dope beats i've heard in recent years.

even without RZA its mean, but it does have RZA, so its like sugar on cocoa pops.

  • John Frusciante is tha boss

  • yea, its about gang violence. notice the blue and red birds. make sense now?

  • N.A.S.A. Has The Best Collaborations Ever Thought Of..

  • This is about gang violence??

  • i think. some one said it was like a romeo and Juliet story. but i think bloods and crips

  • well you could do romeo and juliet but with crips and bloods instead of capulets and montegues, it would work

  • Fru-shady and the RHCP are no more.......so they best not continue without him........

  • Mr. Frusciante jammin' is something out of this world. Amazing song!

  • I never thought I would ever see Johny jam with the Rza. I can die now :) this is amazing!!

  • apparently they record together all the time, but just for fun; recording private tapes and things

  • @williamfuhr Frusciante played with Rza once before on the Wu Tang Track "While the heart gently weeps" a few years back. You could have died a long time ago.

  • @CommandAndCommentary hahahahaha that's really funny. kinda mean, but funny.
