my favorite memory was in team fortress 2 when i went around a corner, and saw a heavy spinning his mini gun, he was thankfully AFK... though, it didn't stop me from screaming like a little girl! xD
My favorite was when I played Pawn. At one point, the game would lag enough that matches would stop in place for minutes. During this time we could chat, and would get along fine. After an in-game stat reset for everyone, and a new version release, us veterans became more close knit. It proved that we didn't care about stats, but more about the people. It was a novelty I haven't found since. We would spend hours just chatting, and not even playing.
My favorite gaming memory was on tirbes honestly back in the day on the first one or maybe it was this one I'm not sure me and my brother would play it with bots offline on ps2 before onlne became popular he would throw a land mind on my back and I was run to the enemy base saying "I'm on a mission again" when I got there I would have him blow it up on the enemies =3
I've watched this about three times today and I think that this looks like a fun game. Problem is that I need a new PC to play it as Xonze knows. Still, planning on getting it when I have an upgraded PC.
Got three more keys from oni911b, who is an awesome person for giving them to me. So, post your favorite Online Gaming Memory and you have three more chances to win a key. :D
My favorite Online Gaming Memory was, when me and some friends first tried minecraft on a multiplayer server. We had no idea what to do so we just digged a bit and suddenly realised that its dark so we jumped into that hole and just laughed :)
BTW Xonzep are you going to do any commentary on Tribes?
@Misha213 Maybe some post commentary. It would be a bit hard to do it during the game as its so fast paced and you'd just hear me cursing every ten seconds. :P
@xxCaboose94xx It makes me a little sad that most people never experience Tribes when it came out in 1998, and their only reference for this type of play is Halo :( You should totally check out the first too games, they're free and still a lot of fun. :D
My favorite Online memory is me and a bunch of my online buddy's getting on COD4 for PC (were usually console players) and completely resetting the keys and trying to play :P (up was P while down was V) We were laughing the whole time :D
@Sab531 I love Tribes (the first two games.) This is pretty close and a lot of fun. There are some problems that I hope Hi-res fixes soon, but otherwise it's the best Tribes games since 2. If you never played tribes before you are going to get owned, horrible. But its worth sticking with it as its pretty skill based.
@1337brush Not sure what you're asking (I am horribly with German) But I'm assuming you're asking about an open-beta, or if the game is in open-beta. It isn't yet, it's suppose to go into Open-beta in the coming month or so.
Mmm, Sound of Madness. Great choice of music.
