I really like the R&B feel of this interpretation. I thought it was more successful than "You've Got To Hide..." because its hard to hide [heheh] their Liverpudlian speech affect Whereas "In My Life" leaves more room for ownership of the singer. Its also easier for Americans to sing. I think this is about cult conditioning. The 2 songs do sound like their culled from 2 different cultures on basis of scales. Although I have limited music training, I can hear the difference. CONGRADS!!!

You're obviously a talented guitarist. Unfortunately, either you're not focusing on the melodies and the lyrics of the songs you're covering or your giving your own interpretations of the songs. If the latter is the case, that's OK but you might want to consider that there are Beatles fans listening to this who can recognize the differences between your version & the Fab 4's and are distracted by them. 4 out of 5 for the guitar but 2 out of 5 for the unexpected riff changes in the vocals.
