  • very nice

  • @izaHoser43 thanks! cheers!

  • maybe that guy was joking, cause your definately a shredder. teenage mutent ninja turtles

  • Nice playing man. It really sounds great!

  • awesome vid!

Could you give me some reasons why to buy an Ibanez JEM?

  • A guitarrist worthy of the title. but the shred monster takes over in the last thirds of the video or so. Learn the balance! lol

  • I have one from 1994, amazing guitar with huge sound! Tasty playing :) I don't like the neck but its hard to resist... This is the only Ibanez that I felt in love with. Not every Japan Ibanez is that good.

  • Wat a fuckin set up ;)

  • nice shit!

  • nice guitar... nice player

  • That a great guitar, I'd love to buy 1, nice vid man

  • nice sound!!

  • dude this is absolutely fantastic!

im thinking of buying one JEM7V

  • Not enough gain bro. Learn to shred!

  • @videoonsight first off, learn some manners! you're like 33? wow! you're life must be pretty boring....lol and again....another guy who likes to write childish comments but doesn't have any of his own playing uploaded...figures.

  • @jashobbsie I own the exact same guitar. I would be happy to upload some clips. Stay tuned. Again, you aren't using enough gain to get the shred tone this guitar was designed for. You could also experiment more with harmonics & tapping. I've learned to be objective in my 33 years!

  • @videoonsight you got burned.

  • @videoonsight

lol... this guy is a great guitar player i bet u dont know anything of guitar.

  • @videoonsight Sometimes too much volume becomes unnatural over time, and you learn to save it for where it is important, like a recording or a live gig, but definitely not for showing off on people like you in youtube.

  • @videoonsight: dude's playing and tone are both excellent. i'm not sure what yer smokin' over there but this vid kicks. makes me want a Jem 7V real badd!

  • hey man im thinking about getting the jem555 but for a few hundred dollar's more i could get the jem 7v what do i do?

  • @1:14

I can't believe im playing this

  • never heard anybody getting such a great tone from recto!

  • @Wuodasz thanks! I no longer own this amp...switched to dr.z amps...

    cheers!

  • @jashobbsie awesome playin there. what gear you using? suggest a Mesa Boogie Dual Recto....

  • Is that an original Edge tremolo or an Edge Pro?

  • Thats a pretty nice amp, Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier?

  • Ca sonne plutot bien mon ami! Mais je te donne un conseil avant qu'il soit trop tard... apprend a jouer avec ton quatrième doigts de la main gauche!! Il est tellement utile! A part de ca...Bravo ;)

  • @RotisserieFusee I come from a blues background and most blues players only use thumb and 3 fingers mostly, like srv, eric clapton..

    Thanks anyways...cheers!

  • ?@jashobbsie i wanna get a jem , is it worth it

  • How much was it man?

  • either the fretboard is not ebony or the guitar isn´t 2001, because the last jem was made 2000. you can find out when it was made by checking the serial on the back of the headstock

  • nice

  • Sounds like the "Brown Sound". Pretty nice

  • oh my god dream combo, dual rectifier with jem. god damn some people are just richfucks

  • Nice sound man, I just bought one myself, it's amazing. I only have one video of it so far and it's just some pictures, but there will be more to come. Best guitar ever!

  • Yo,

Can you elaborate on how you got the sound recorded to youtube?

i.e. microphone to pc? which sound card? which mic?

    Cheers!

  • @eitamaa just a regular mic thats in a camcorder..

  • @jashobbsie Hmmm! Interesting! Great camcorder mic.

It's doing a great job at deciding the input level.

  • @jashobbsie Sounds pretty great for just the camcorder. Well done.

  • where did you buy this?

  • sounds AWSOME , i want that guitarrr!

  • ewwwhhh

  • Awesome!! I heard this rumour that inspite of the Jem7v having ebony until 2003, Vai always used rosewood from the start. Is this true?

  • I'm so glad you demo'd this because I wanted to have a guitar made with Vai's specs as I can't afford to buy a jem7v right now.....so I wanted the look of the ebony fingerboard instead of rosewood but I didn't want to loose that punchy tone at the neck that Vai gets. Then again, prior to 2003 Vai used ebony and thats the sound I guess we hear on his Ultrazone album so maybe I'm worrying too much.

    Thanx a million though!

  • tasty playing dude..;) does it have a lo-pro bridge or edge pro?

  • @Mrnat1234 I think its a edge pro...thanks!

  • @jashobbsie Does it have an Ebony Fretboard? Whats the best Ibanez Trem Bridge?

  • @jashobbsie Its an lo-pro edge, edge pro was introduced in 2003. just thought i should let you know :P

  • unlike most demos of the jem u dont over do anything .great bluesy playing

  • Sounds AWESOME Jashobbsie!! Japan Made IBANEZ RULE!!

  • Сложно научиться так играть на гитаре. ?? Я играю на акустической. Для меня просто даже не понятно как происходит звук в электро гитаре.!

  • does this guitar have Jumbo Frets? I'm looking forword buying this guitar but i can't find out if these are Jumbo Frets

  • @Skateluki hello...no, this guitar has 6105 frets...it's more like a medium jumbo...

  • Nice player , i like that way you introduce your video not like others talk much and do nothing at the end , your soundz dam hot ..

    Keep it up bro .

  • You fully deserve that Jem... I have a 2004 ebony fret board jem. Its serial is number 1 of the 2004 ebony model. If these are rear then Im keeping mine forever.

  • your left hand looks like marty friedman's , in shape and way to play ... and that's AWESOME DUDE. Keep rocking

  • @jashobbsie that was message to 15 y/o person) not to you)
