@punjow Jon McBride is retired & living in Florida. I bet he enjoys sharing his experience with the public. I think it's cool that he does this. If I lived there I'd hang out at KSC all the time :o)
Wasn't very realistic. All the simulator did was try to act like your going into space by bumping you around. Disney's Spaceship Earth was more realistic and thats DISNEY.
I think you are referring to Mission Space, not Spaceship Earth. This ride is to simulate a launch in the Shuttle. Mission Space would be closer to the Apollo Program. The differences between those two are huge. It would be like driving a Cadillac and then a Pinto.

Mom and I rode on this simulator yesterday. We're going to the World Space Expo tomorrow.
