I don't get all these people talking about Paul Washer's false gospel, and then all I hear in the video is truth and scripture. But I guess the bible predicted this; "For the time is coming when people will not endure sound[a] teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth"
None of us here if we live and have stayed in America has seen the sheer power of God through a true blazing and redemptive revival as it will be when the real children of God arise and stand as prophets and prophetesses to a lost and dying world. All we that are comes from God and is given to us by a graceful and merciful God. The sun rises on both the heinous and evil man as well as the humble and modest one. Praise be to God, We can not live apart from His grace.

All is of Christ. He is our Righteousness, he is our Faith-the Author and Perfector of it. When God imputes Christ's righteousness unto us, what could we think to add to it in our own righteousness-which is but filthy rags-that would make Christ's righteousness more perfect? If what you have is not of Christ-throw it away. If it is man-made faith-burn it. If it is self-righteousness-get rid of it. Is all you have from Christ?

If Spurgeon was correct on the True Gospel,PW has in effect said that the True Gospel is not important, regeneration is. PW says that the church is the remnant(=Romish doctrine). PW testifies to his own part in the fruits of the 10 indictments,closes the book of Revelation and the Prophets,teaches a future antichrist.This is bad PUBLIC fruit of PW.
I don't think you guys understand! There is nothing, absolutely nothing, that we can use to justify ourselves. We are absolute spiritual wrecks apart from Christ. Paul said, "it is not I who live, but Christ lives in me!" Look, if you think that you have obtained a degree of righteousness, then you do not understand, fully, the grace which you have received. We are not saved, nor to be bring the favor of God by our righteousness, but by our faith! We are justified by faith and that is it!

If I ignore the fact that the prophets and apostles in the Bible lived far more righteous life than me, and there IS such a thing as a "great man of God," then I am also just in self justification, denying their good works as a means to justify my own lack thereof.
The apostle said "I am the greatest sinner among you" Paul said "I am what I am because of the grace and mercy of God"

WadeDanielSmith, i think u have the right idea in the wrong way. These prophets were no more righteous than u or i, they just had greater faith then us because they obeyed the ;law more then we do. Works have nothing to do with salvation, obeying the law simply confirms our salvation.

We see in the parable of the talents and other parables that there actually are "degrees" in the Kingdom of God.
If we take Pauline Doctrine so far that we abolish individuality.
What touches me about Washer is his honesty. After all the fakes over the last few decades & the fakes that still have tv shows, it is such a relief to know that there are men who want God's glory over their own. Like Washer & JudeVerseThree says, I've often thought: there's no such thing as a great preacher, there is only one great God. And all the fake ones are just the fulfillment of Christ's & John's prophecies. Darkest before the Dawn.

If these men say they speak in the Name of Christ about revival and they do this for years all over the USA and the world, and this revival has not come, but only devival everywhere, how can they prove that they were speaking according to Gods Mind ? Were they not speaking the inventions of their own brains that God never said they should speak ? God has been destroying the false christianity in the USA for years, and these men still continue to think they are oneeye int he land of the blind.
Revival still happens today. I can mention some. However, I think we will not see "old time revivals" as when a whole city or even a whole country were placed under conviction by the Holy Spirit. These days we will mostly see it in local churches and their immediate surroundings. People have other things on their minds. And the great apostasy is spreading within the Church. BUT the biggest revivals will happen during the Tribulation. And I don't think Paul Washer is announcing revivals. Shalom

Several of Jesus parables and prophecies become meaningless if there are no "degrees" of greatness among men of God.
in 2 Kings 23:25, for example, we see that God himself says that there was no king before or after Josiah who served God as Josiah did.
If there is no such thing as "degrees" of righteousness, then such statements would be meaningless.
In another example, God spoke to moses face to face under the OLD covenant "as a man speaks to his friend." (Ex. 33:11)

All I see here is a humble, honest, broken servant.
I am not even Baptist and I can feel and discern the Spirit of God when he speaks.
Be careful Jude you may be deceived. There are no great men of God, like Paul said, but even I can tell a saved one.
