  • I recall this guy playing with Bonnie Raitt on SNL in about 1976. Me and a buddy recorded it to VHS because were musicians and had a gig. Anyway - the guy's a fine bass player - but he got totally lost in looking "way cool" and got totally lost...ah, musically speaking in one tune. He looked like he was gonna have a litter of kittens. We played it over and over. Funny thing, though, most people would never even catch the bass player getting' lost. It was a hoot.
