The Americans are convinced when a horse has won the United States is the best horse in history. This is really ridiculous! In the real world everyone knows that the best horses ever are italian . Varenne trotting, galloping Ribot. To be the best, you have to travel the world and win big races, beating the strongest horses in the world. Somebeachsomewhere and other donkeys Americans have never seen Europe. The movies are nice, but it is just fantasy. Watch my video about Varenne
I missed seeing Bret Hanover. In the late 60's, my dad took me up to Bandywine Raceway in Wilmington, De. I saw Cardigan Bay race a couple of times. He drew big crowds.
When I was i kid my Dad would take me to Yonkers and Roosevelt to see Bret Hanover vs. Cardigan Bay. this was a real big deal back then. I haven't been abler to find any videos of these events.....
As a long time lover of Harness racing. Two things I wish the young peple could have seen. One was the great Bret Hanover perform and number two was to see Joe O'brain in a strech drive simple shaking the lines and the horse flying past the leaders
in 1908 a lady named sally rusa was in the woods looking for a dog until a ghost came and killed her so if ur reading this u will find a bloody body in your closet hanging there haunting you and will kill you and ur family and if u want to stop this just sends this to 6 videos in 30 mins or this will happen good luck!!!
I was one of the fortunate people to see the great Bret Hanover run in Chicago at Sportsman Park. After winning he was taken off his cart and after attaching his white cape walked to the center of the track and bowed to the grandstand. No other harness horse so great as he.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank "esrohtv" for putting out such sensational standardbred videos.
It is such a pleasure to watch these videos and I often wonder where "esrohtv" comes up with the footage.
Nonetheless, THANK YOU "esrohtv" for putting out all these fantastic videos. We (all of us horsemen) owe you a wonderful debt of gratitude!
