@DietStroke, you're actually correct. The ever expanding human population is pushing wildlife out of its natural environments and into places where they're killed simply for trying to survive. The only correction to your comment is that the extinction of many of these animals will happen much sooner than 100 years. I do a lot of lion conservation work in Africa and the lion in the wild will become extinct within approximately fifteen years (if not sooner).

@ru4me66 Circus elephants are sad, however most elephants in zoos are either very old and unable to be re-introduced into the wild or are in the very long process of giving birth. Since Elephants take so long to reproduce many zoos take them in and keep them in a safe, controlled environment so they can give birth and allow their baby to grow.
