I always figured the last boss was deliberately easy, more or less to rub in that the villain wasn't as powerful as he made himself out to be. With Valmar more or less out of the picture, he was just a selfish human and went down as such.

Core was so fucking difficult, beat it on the first try though. I wonder why people say Melfice is hard, I had no big problems with him. Epic win for the theme.

I kicked the ever living crap outta this boss the first time I fought him. I'm surprised to see so many people had trouble with him. All I can remember is using large spell repeatedly and he dropped pretty fast.

amazing game, both this fight and Melfice were incredibly difficult and took me several tries to beat them on my first play through. If only the true final boss could compare to those two

I love this track especially because it doesn't have this dark or depressing feeling like most other final boss themes. It's just plain out epic, triumphant and pushes you onward in a sense.

It fits both fights very well, though I do have to agree, the three-headed Valmar form was the true final boss for me, not that Zera Valmar 0² rip-off... :3

The two boss fights that had this music were my favorites. I was really dissapointed with Zera Valmar. The core was INSANE and took me a few tries. That should've been the final boss. But other than that this is such an epic song and I love this game<3

whats really dumb is like when the core has its turn the left head all the way to the end heals everytime! So i always kill that first and the core

They should have seriously given mr. gay butterfly a better combat algorithm, 5x the HP, a devastating AoE, an instant death spell, and the ability to stun 2 party members.

it got a nice first sec intro, the C'MON! feeling..

but alst the: Here we GO!! AND the THIS IS THE END feeling wery simple.. i LIKE this song ^^

Good point, did anyone else notice that Fallen wings did over the top damage on the valmar eye boss at the end? it was taking 5k + off the core, somtimes more. It died in about 3 attacks. While th other parts would just take a normal 3k.

Valmars eye was harder than the final boss, all you hae to do is Spell Binding eye and hay presto!! he doesn't even attack...pitiful.....Good song though XD

Lol yeah. That was one of the harder battles. But then all you needed to do was get AoE spells for everyone and the eyes die super fast.
