In KHII, Cloud's light is actually Tifa.

Cloud's looking for the light, Sephy wants to take it away, while Tifa's searching for Cloud to give him her light.

This was stated by Square's staff before, couldn't remember who though. * 3*

Not true. The SE staff said that if Sephiroth was Cloud's darkness, Tifa would be light. He never said Tifa was Cloud's light. His answer was pertaining to the possibility of whether Tifa is actually human or not. Is she Cloud's light? IMO, no. Tifa tries to give her light to Cloud, but, KH2 is about finding one's own inner light. When Cloud was glowing with light, it was a different color than Tifa. Instead of depending on Tifa, I believe he found his own light.
