this is nonsense. plaki needs lots of chopped herbs and spices and olive oil. then you put it on the grill and you let all juices run down the tray. then you serve it with the juices in the plate and it goes with white wine.
@melmothd " Plaki " simply means " Flat " in Modern Greek , and in cooking fish usually means the fish has been filleted and the backbone removed , and is cooked laying flat , open .
As you generally would then grill the fish , what you top it with is up to you - what you suggest is simple and good , or try smothering it with a tomato and onion sauce ( fry onion till transparent , add a can of chopped tomatoes , black pepper and herbs to taste , let it fester till orange oily goo appears = done)
