All good but in the series itself whomever is in control should let some of those beautiful and melodic tunes be played out. You get like 15 seconds to a minute of a tune and cut off. Bummer! Still enjoy regardless.

This promo doesn't really inform us as to what Treme is about. Luckily that doesn't matter, it's David Simon and Eric Overmeyer with Bunk, Lester, Fran Boyd and others. It's actually impossible for this show not to be brilliant.

I have a lot of hope for this series.

If HBO can capture the spirit & culture of the Treme district in NOLA, it will be a smash hit.

Most - and I do mean MOST - of the great musicians that have come out of NOLA came from this area, and their is a huge rebuilding / relocating effort going on there noiw.

Although it was once predominately black, many white musicians are now moving there. It's becoming THE cultural address for NOLA artists.
