Exactly, if you believe in the Bible then you should also believe in everyone's own free agency to do what they want and what they feel is right. If you don't give back to the community, then it's your fault alone, not every other rich person that does.

They starved that winter. they eventually had to start trading individually with the indians to make it. Then they had the celebration we all know as Thanksgiving.
