I love her, but my mom was obviously overburdened being a single parent. She even sent my brothers back to their dad for a couple of years because she simply couldn't handle them! He took the lion's share of their rowdiness, tamed them a bit (or they just grew up) and sen't them back.

It's not that you're doomed to be somehow damaged if you're raised by a single parent, it's "just" that you're in an all around disadvantageous position compared to being raised in a conventional family.

I love her, but my mom was obviously overburdened being a single parent. She even sent my brothers back to their dad for a couple of years because she simply couldn't handle them! He took the lion's share of their rowdiness, tamed them a bit (or they just grew up) and sen't them back.
Me? I was a docile one, but still got slapped a few times. I sincerely think she did her best, but she was still a woman raising boys. I can only thank God that this was before ritalin!

I’m sick to death of single mothers always being demonised. My dad (who cheated on my mum and left us) always said that without him, my sister and I would walk all over our mum. He was wrong. We have nothing but respect for her, she had no problem handing out discipline and done a fantastic job of raising us. My dad can go to hell for all I care; I certainly won’t be paying for his funeral when he snuffs it.

I always knew something didn't quite add up, but even I had no idea just how warped things are. I also recommend checking out Warren Farrel himself, I assure you, the man has credentials.

It is common knowledge that the majority of gang members, in fact the vast majority of all violent criminals are fatherless.

It's not changes in gender roles that are aiding the rise of gangs, it's socioeconomic factors. Poverty, arbitrary laws, poor cultural assimilation, systematic racism.
All these things. From what I see around me in research and studies, gender is the last card to be played in relation to why gangs are emerging.

It's not that you're doomed to be somehow damaged if you're raised by a single parent, it's "just" that you're in an all around disadvantageous position compared to being raised in a conventional family.

The home environment also needs to have parents who mutually respect each other as this provides healthy models of what a cohesive marriage and family look like, giving the children a solid point of reference.

Nice video. If I could make a suggestion though, I'd add more examples of men fired for trivial or quizzical comments. Larry Summers as the sole example may not have as significant an impact all on his own, as his career had a great deal more controversy at the end then just that comment (I think that comment played a significant role, and likely could have ended his career on it's own, but it wasn't on it's own, so we can't be certain). There are plenty other examples to include. Just a thought

Women like this find it frustrating that males have peristed since complex life came from the ocean. They should stop and think for a minute or two. As has been pointed out in stories, some by women, a female only society would be no better and in fact would be worse than what we have. All genders are equal, but some are more... ?

I really enjoy these shorter (sub 10 minutes) videos you put out, I feel that there are a lot of people that do a lot of talking about misandry. Which is great, don't get me wrong!
However it usually strikes me as massing of information for people already in agreement with the writers/speakers.
Whereas something like this carries more punch, which is what is needed to wake people up, I believe.
