My point is that if you asked 99.99% of ANYONE who these people are, they would not know. BECAUSE of that fact alone, PROVES that the writer doesn't make a movie more or less successful (and don't come back with the whole very famous writer names blah, blah). Movies and shows (other than the rare fee) do NOT sell because of the writer!!

A battery is an important part of a Rolex watch. BUT the battery will have little, if any, effect on the successful sale of that watch. That same battery in a $2 watch works just as hard and is just as important, but doesn't improve the fact that the Rolex will sell for $10,000. Same with most movie/shows and the writers! Should the battery company charge more to Rolex than to Timex? Should the battery get a commission on the sale price of the watch? That is just silly, same here!!

Well the fact that no one knows who the writers are, isn't that really the point in the first place?
They made the story. They thought it up and they typed it up. And yet we have no idea who they are.
We need to give credit where credit is due, and money to those who helped earn it.
