example: RE, MGS.

and many character designs have western models.

example: DOA. asians don't look like that.

Vanquish looks like, and most probably will be, that game. I have faith in Mikami, him and his team will deliver.

I just wish for once they would either let the game play (via option menu) with Japanese dialogue and English subs. Most of the voices are ok, but that general guy's voice makes me want to punch babies. I swear they could hire homeless people off the street that sound better. On top of all that, I still don't understand why the translators refuse to give up on direct translations, Japanese phrases never get translated well, due to lack of a passable English counterpart; the result is painful.

You realize that the FFXIII DLC for PS3 was already unlockable through the trophies in-game, which weren't difficult to obtain at all? Not to mention the fact that there aren't many people on PSN who even play GTA4 anymore - RDR? The MW2 DLC's came out only a month prior to the PS3's DLC - unless gaming is your life, one month waiting for 3 new maps, and some of the 2 old maps that I hated playing before to begin with, not such a big deal. That being said, Shin's leading con. is PS3.

@uresai I dunno about that. the ps3 version of bayonetta got a patch a month after release that corrected all the issues from the graphics to the load screens. After having to go through that I think Platinum will do a good job making sure it doesn't happen again.

@123veso Both Resident Evil 5 and Lost Planet 2 are pieces of crap compared to what the guys in Platinum Games have made. Shinji Mikami (the creator of Vanquish) is also the creator of the Resident Evil series. The last RE game he made was RE4 - which is one of the greatest games ever made. He also made God Hand, which is the best beat-'em-up ever made.

Everyone who worked in Capcom's Clover Studio is in Platinum Games. The games they make are solid platinum.
