SCC has had a few good patches, its most recent in March 2010 which has dramatically changed the way the physics behave and the cars handling, the AI legend level has also been made far more difficult. Cars oversteer far better, and the weight transfer feel fantastic. Its certainly worth checking out again srt?

Regarding the Supercar Challenge review: Stick to 'messing' about on games, and leave the reviews to competent critics with better literary skills. Simply saying something is goofy, or bad, is a truly pathetic way to put across why something is flawed. I can respect absolutely devestating reviews of even my favourite games IF the reviewer puts the effort in and makes good, solid, well defined points. This guy does none of that.

Have to buy it online. The distribution of this game is quite fraught with trouble. If you love GT, and enjoy playing GT all the time, don't get this game. But if you are bored of GT, or don't like GT FFB or handling, get SCC. The big advantage is with SCC, you can make online lobbies for racing. And if you're a pad user, definitely get SCC (as you're not deliberately put at a disadvantage to Logitech wheel users).

Are these guys getting a back-hander from Polyphony or something? Every single person I know who uses a wheel say the FFB and feeling is far superior to Gran Turismo (Prologue, demo, whatever).

When I see a reviewer who can drive properly, I might take it seriously. "...depend on their career mode" - No they don't. I get the career mode finished asap in all sims. They depend on online play.

I think there are things wrong with this game. But it is definitely the best sim available on the PS3.

Supercar is bug infested.. You would think after their Ferrari Challenge failure, they would get it right with Supercar.. We really looked forward to this title, but it's full of bugs.. It does have some qualities.. But compared to Forza, iRacing, or even GT5P, this title is weak.. It does have decent FFB, but that doesn't make a title.. Anytime you'd like to go up against this "reviewer".. Hit me up.. I'll even run against you in SCC anytime.

@alang184 the force feedback is stronger than GT5 but it's still hindered by the games physics. Like he said, there's not enough feel involved, IMO the cars stay planted far too well and although they handle realistically, the way the cars respond to your input and to the tracks themselves is a little too controlled and that's why GT5 is better and more accurate. Strength of FFB is awesome & something GT5 lacks (plus sound) but GT5 is far more accurate with FFB bcuz of it's superior physics

I looked at the official SCC site, the system3 site, everywhere. . .and I kept getting the idea that SCC is released only in Europe, without any info about the ETA for the U.S. Amazon doesn't have it. Poor review of SCC imo, turn off the driving aids, then try complaining bout the physics, Also the Forcefeedback is strong, infact i had to turn it down to low because my room was shaking.

Try it with a Logitech wheel its a different game.

I think the whole game is overall far better than 57,3.

With a DFP it feels really nice, and I must say I've enjoyed a lot the story mode.

I can't understand how Superstars V8 Racing, which is RUBBISH got a 59, and Supercar Challenge, which is WAY BETTER in everything gets only a 57,3.

Oh, okay, I knew I recognized the video interface but mistook it for the Popcorn Hour video player. Yeah, the Frankenwheel is great! I think the FFB is stronger somehow- maybe the driver works better w/ the PWTS hardware or something? Cheers Guys, Just watched it. However theres quite na few issues surfaced with Forza since then, No dash on the Holden V8`s at all, check em out. Also theyve taken away the best part of Forza 2, The multiplayer custom lobbies are gone and a horrible matchmaking in place. Great game but online destroys it personally. Matchmaking dont work in a racing game claiming to be a sim. Its like the dodgem cars man.

The sound on that real life video is distorted and heavily compressed, and the first frequecies to go with compression are the very high ones. iRacing wouldn't put the tranny whine on there for no reason, they had access to the real car and took many recordings of it, including from the position of the drivers helmet.

Some iRacing sounds aren't great, but I'm yet to see anyone on the forums criticise the Dallara sound.
