i was at the 2009 and 2010 tattoo i have done edinburgh many times

windor 2009 was simply class, with the lone piper and the horse to the queen

i never expected seeing the queen, i applaud all services far and wide for the effort and the pure class you perform, music, horses guns, pipers drums simply everything

emotion, wow when the flags are ridden round wow a tear to my eye

Despite the freezing cold (I sat there wrapped in several layers of packing fleece!) this was an incredibly memorable and breath-takingly beautiful and exciting evening. I sincerely hope that this event will keep on going and getting better and bigger every year.

Pity there will be no DVD of the event as we understood there would be, as we have no other record of being there than what I can find on youtube. This vvideo would have to be the best I have found so-far.
