Of course she hates LA, She`s Canadian. Most people outside of California Don`t get it. Most people in California are so jaded, they never take advantage of everything it has to offer. Probably less than 5% ever go to the beach if even once a year. Some who love it, surf, run or whatever in the morning, go to work, then drive an hour and go skiing at night. No place else can you do all that in one day comfortably. California X pats never knew what they had till they`ve moved away and miss it.

All actors talk like that, they get into the heads of the character and for short hand purposes and to not confuse people who haven't seen the show they'll say "I." That's the point of the interviews: to promote the show. Anyone who hasn't seen the show can pick up on the conversation and doesn't need to remember names.
