before 4.01 - I had the BMWR80GS, my friend Achim Honda (500?) offroad, after 4.01 the motorcycles of the Belgian "Hoteliers" were street motorcycles, one was an old Honda and one an old BMW ... remember it was the year 1986, 25 years ago ... adding: after 9.06 - when we met other motorcyclist, who had existential problems in the desert, one had the Honda XT offroad, the other motorcycle that we repaired , also BMW offroad ...

@jochenahuebener thanks so much for getting back to me.yes the old honda road bike with knobbies.i enjoy old bikes and was just wondering bout that bike,i was just baffled to see that road bike out there.you must feel a great sense of acheivement

@whatis07 thanks, the persons with the road bikes had more problems than other people with their offroad bikes, especially in deep soft sand
