Gary Barlow is one of the most underrated songwriters. He wrote this when he was 15. I like both versions but its just disrespectful to say they sang this with as much emotion as take that did and still do.

@NeverBlikeU i think gary wrote this when he was about 23/24. he wrote a million love songs when he was 15 though. it was one of the 1st songs he ever wrote, and you could actually probably find demos of it from when he made cassetes on youtube. it's definately featured in a few take that documentaries.

This freaked me out! As a fan of both Boyz II Men and Take That for about the same length of time. Having now listern to this version a few times, I don't think it would be fair to say that one is better than the other. They are performed in slightly different styles. Boyz 2 Men are give this song a RnB/Mowtown interpretation, different to the more pure pop style of the original. Both groups have different singing accents which affects the sound. Judgement is down to 'I prefer" not 1 is better
