Hog Hunting: Dos Plumas Hunt # 2

hog dude i subscribed, I got alot of bow hunting vidoes but i need some help on editing videos and stuff like that can you give me some tips, like adding videos together and just little stuff that can help me thanks...

My buddy busted a 146" ten point in early bow season and it walked. He seen him agian in mid november and took it down with the rifle. His Rage broadhead was in its shoulder still, and never opened up!! but he got his buck

hye i herd you said you use rage. my dad had them and they break super easy he even brok the trying to make sure they were on when shooting in the target. You should give grim reapers a try cut the same just more durable. good vid to! 5*

Yeah, I don't recommend shooting your Rage broadheads into a target...they will more than likely break as you pull them out. Usually when I hit a hog or deer in the ribcage the Rage is unharmed, but if I hit the spine or harder bone they do break and or bend...I have used Grim Reapers on several hogs and they worked great...I did see a guy shoot a nice buck with them and the blades did not open at all...still killed the deer though...and he said that was the second time that has happend...

I have shot 2 deer with my rage broadheads and both times the blades didn't open and I lost both deer

@hogdude1234 I know you posted this a long time ago but up here in Michigan some guys come up with a new broadhead everybody is talking about. It's the Reign Broadhead. The blades actually swing from side to side allowing the arrow to go past bones. Check them out their pretty cool. This not a sales pitch lol just wondering what one of these would do to a hog.

I am currently focusing in on deer hunting. If I see a hog, I am going to put an arrow in it for sure, but I have not been staying in the stand real late cause I have to get up super early ti hit the stand in the am!!! Stay tuned, there will be more hunting action coming soon!!!

Hog trapping is a lot of work. Especially if you get into trapping them every day. I got a Ranch to run and there ain't no money in Hogs anymore, so I just try to stick one every now and then with my bow!!!

That is a bow mounted red LED light. It is called the Marauder, by Hawglite. A very valuble tool to use when hunting hogs after dark!!!

Thanks Matt!!! No, it did not cut off...I was shooting with my quiver on my bow, which I rarely do, so when I shot it kinda made me move the light off of the hog for a split second for some reason. You should talk to KellyG about that light doing that!!!! He makes them.

the hunt package I paid for was for two hogs of any size. Extra hogs are $100. I was the only one out of 6 hunters to harvest hogs. I was lucky to get put in that particular area of the ranch.
