My pitt is the greatest dog i have ever had. He is never aggressive with people and he absolutely LOVES kids. It drives me insane when people go on and on about how mean they are and that they need to be banned. They are not all mean. Its how they are raised. Just like any other dog!
People who think Pit Bulls are "AGGRESSIVE" should do a bit of research on other breeds first. Like Golden Retrievers and Labs, there are more bites every year from these dogs than Pit Bulls, and these bites for some reason don't make it to the news because the dogs are the typical family dog. I know of a 110LB Pit Bull that plays with KIDS, DUCKS AND OH YEAH A CHINCHILLA!! I have been a dog trainer and seen more aggressive chihuahuas than Pit Bulls.

i realize the video is mostly about the blue one, but the white one is absolutely gorgeous! its a mix of both, the breed does have a tendency to attack, but its people that bred them for fighting that are to be blamed. (i think that was okay grammar haha)

I have been bitten by a schnauzer, and a min pin, to say that these dogs have a tendency to bite, or however more dangerous is the equivalent to saying that all black people are more prone to violence than any other race, it simply is false. These dogs are strong breeds...no such thing as naturally aggressive....just naturally protective and territorial...I have a Rottweiler and when I got him as a pup he was very bossy....he used to nip at my hands and not listen to me...only until "I bit him" and scared him a little...he began listenening to me...just gotta show them whose boss...my rotweiller has grown up to be obiedient and very friendly...no sign of aggression...u just gotta show ur dog his place in the pack

pits are just like our staff's only bigger, it all boils down to how the owners bring them up , my staffy has bit and put someone on the floor but that was only because that person pulled a knife and went for a family member bear in mind hes a rescue dog and spent a couple a years around young gang twats, thats a loyal dog, yet hes such a loving dog, he looks after my daughter so well and wants to cuddle her all the time lol, soppy old sod,.

I love this video, I have a pit and raised him from 6 weeks old they are the best dogs ever. Raise them correctly and you have a loving loyal friendly child safe pet and friend. My niece and nephew wrestle with him run with him and play with him all day long and all he does is love them. Im tired of the people buying into sterotypes for pits instead of knowing the truth. I vote this down as to The Words You used. Pit Bulls Kills Strangers & the captions used. As a Dog owner. I've seen many dogs that act agressive to other dog breeds. It doesn't matter big or large dogs to smaller dogs or animals. It is the owners responsibility who must decide as how they want there pets to behave or interact (socialize) with breeds or people. Everyone has there own opinion as to what or why dogs act the way they do. Some make sense other doesn't. But no real proof.

I've grown up with pitbulls all my life. Mixed, pure bred, American, blue nose, red nose, all of them have had different personalities. How they act towards humans and other animals all depends on how they were brought up, just like humans. If you were brought up by terrible guardians, you'd be pretty messed up wouldn't you? If you were brought up by good guardians, you'd be nice wouldn't you? Same thing applies to dogs, regardless of breed. Simple as that. Is it really that hard to understand?
I love all breeds and it's true that its bad owners that give certain breeds a bad name. If you train a dog to be loving and good then that is what they'll be. You train one to fight and hurt people then that's what you'll get.

I rescued 2 pit bulls about a year ago and they are the biggest sweetest babies ever! my dogs had been abused and severely neglected when i rescued them but because I put in the effort to be a strong, calm leader for them, they are the most obedient loving dogs Ive ever had...they also get along well with my parent's 2 dogs, a rotty and a german shepherd, all mixed gender. It's unfortunate that we don't even use these dogs to their fullest potential or most owners don't. They can be used for finding narcotics and bombs, used for therapy, Search and Rescue, and what does it seem like owners use them for? Fighting could be one, and also just to look cool or tough. Basically selfishness.
You can raise a chihuahua to terrorize and hate people. We were terrorized by my uncles because it was plain mean, my uncle rescued him and he only liked my uncle. He only lived 2 more years , then passed away. When my uncle found him, he was starved and beaten, poor thing. It's how you raise an animal not it's breed. I am a veteran that suffers from PTSD and have been prescribed s service dog. I chose a Pit. I am thankful that God created such an animal to show such unconditional love. the reason pitbulls have a bad rep is because they have very big heads with strong jaws. They have very powerful bites and when they do bite they don't let go very easily. But i have an amazing pit of my own now and i have been around my uncle's ever since i was little. BY FAR MY FAVORITE DOG
I work in a grooming salon and I can honestly say that 99% of the pit bulls who come in are wonderful dogs. I've been bitten quite a few times at work, and most of them were from chihuahuas! I'm not saying chihuahuas are a bad breed either, but people who own them think they're fashion accessories and don't put time into training them. The worst bite I ever got was from a border collie! The problem is people who get dogs without thinking through the effort they need to put into training.
Great video! I commend you on your efforts to educate people on how friendly pitbulls really are. My pitbull puppy is so loving and loyal, I can't imagine not owning more in the future. He is an excellent friend with my 6 year old boxer and 3 month old boxer puppy.
Any dog can have swelling of the brain if bred incorrectly. In actuallity spaniels such as king and charles spaniels have the most recorded brain swelling (even when bred correctly) last time I checked; but things could've changed since a few years ago. Usually (not always) brain swelling causes things such as paralysis and seizures rather than violence.

I was never a fan of Pits (because of all the horrible stories), until I "inherited" a 9wk old puppy.I did a lot of dog watching and people watching regarding this breed. when i took him on walks people literally 2-3 blocks away would cross the street. I KNOW in my experience, NOT BAD DOG, BAD OWNER. If you do not educated those around you about the dog (no matter the breed) then people will not know how to act around them (or any animal for that matter)
Yorkie terriers & Jack Russels were breed to kill small animals. I don't see anyone dogging them left & right. Or bringing that UP on every video about them. Funny, how people who have never owned a Pit, can tell you all about them, how bad they are, etc. I had a boss who tole me how bad they were. I told him I grew up with them, and been around them all my life, and currently had one. He told me that they would eventually attack me which never happened.. My son's pit may look tough, but is the sweetest dog, anyone would ever want to know. My chicuacha chased him home one day. Funniest thing I ever saw a dog do.

You know I have never owed a pitt, but I think they are a wonderful and beautiful breed. Ever since I was little my parents told me to be careful around them. Not because they will attack you just like that, but the fact that I didn't know how the were brought up. I have been around pitts and none have ever been mean towards me or my children. I have never blamed the breed, just the people that have owned them and made them they way the public see's them. Would I ever own one, that is easy, Yes.

The thing about Pit bulls is not that they're "born" aggressive.
However, it is very well known that they have a tendency to "snap", not due to their aggressive murderous intent, but rather due to a physiological structure.
A pit bulls cranium is very tight around the cerebral area, which causes the brain to swell at some points, and when the brain swells, the dog experiences something close to being "light headed" or just in pain, and so it feels threatened- and some cases, it "snaps".

I've heard that of dobermans before and don't know how true it is, but my pit i introduced to lots of people and other dogs as a puppy. i got rid of her sep anxiety by throwin my shirt from yesterday in her cage when i went to work. i pretended to eat her food when i fed her. if you treat any dog right, they will be loyal. if you tie a dog to a treadmill for 6 months and feed it cottage cheese and gunpowder, the dog will be vicious. you influence the dogs mentality

For instance a Chow Chow which looks fluffy and huggable are the worst for children, they generally don't tolerate much and are quick to bite. But you don't see people fighting Chow Chows, which is why they don't get a bad reputation.
Pits are very social and have low temperaments, it's the assholes that abuse them that give Pits a bad rep.

If they are experiencing this problem you can bet your ass there is a medical issue that needs to be addressed! Secondly, Pitbulls (AKA...American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Terriers, Bull Terriers, and American Bulldogs) were originally bred in England for use as working dogs.

The term "pitbull" was not given to these breeds until the early 19th century when noblemen began to fight these, and other large dogs, in pits for sport. Hence the name "pit" and the bull portion came from the cross with the English bulldog...pitbull.

@ThisIsBigKevin This information has been scientifically proven false. Your information and wherever you are getting it from, is complete bunk. A pit bulls cranium is the same size as a normal dogs. The build and the square shape you see is from muscle, the muscles that go from the jaw to the top of the head is bigger in a pit bull than it is in most other dogs, giving them the square look. There is nothing special about their skulls.

This is absolute nonsense. Pit bulls don't "snap" for no reason, any more than any other breed. An individual dog can be ill, poorly-trained or undersocialized, or it can have any number of reasons for "snapping" that the humans around it are too ignorant to understand. I work at a Humane Society, and 99% of all bite incidents that we see (with pit bulls or any other breed) fall into that last category.
Ok, so I love how all these pitbull owners are showing there dogs on youtube like with their kids and are loving and all that other stuff. However, all of the pits on youtube are trained and are brought up well-mannered by their owners. It's the pitbulls in the ghetto and low income neighborhoods that are causing the most problem. The pitbulls that society is mad at is the ones who are not properly trained by their owners or who are not trained at all that is causing the problem.

"born" naw.. People make them into killers. Truth is..some are bred to be killers..but that whether or not they are depends on the owner. If you raise them to love, they will love and vice versa. I like pits but I do think they CAN be dangerous just a little more than you average dog. Make no mistakes, every dog has the capacity and ability to harm you just as bad as a pit...it's just a question of which is more likely.

My neighbour has three and they're the best dogs around. Kind of ironic, since people say they're killers. people are so quick to judge dogs for the irresponsibility of the owners. it makes me so mad.. i have had 3 pitbulls since i was a little girl. they are harmless dogs if you train and treat them right.
American Pit Bull terriers are probably one of the most misunderstood dog breeds ever, any dog can be vicious and attack people that trait alone doesn't solely belong to the APB breed...
With that being said APBs are one of the most affectionate breed of dogs ever.
I am a big fan of Pit Bull protection. The breed is misunderstood. I heard someone state them as "High Maintenance Dogs" because they need strong sense of training and very early socialization. I think this is accurate. If you are not ready to live with a high maintenance breed, don't get one. That way the good pit bull owners can shine and people who neglect them can be prosecuted correctly. This video just proves this point. These people are VERY dedicated and they have GREAT dogs.

i work with dogs 40 hours a week and all the stereotyping of pitbulls is rediculous. A dog will be the direct reflection of its owners. Obviously you are role model pitbull owners.
I love pitbulls, I have a mixed breed kind so they're half and half with sharpeis. Most retain their pit bull looks, but others have the baggy skin. They're all loveable which I easily fall for those kind of dogs and just don't want to give them away. So as to my point, love the way your dogs look, wish to have ones like that for my family when I move out or something like that.
My pitt is the greatest dog i have ever had. He is never aggressive with people and he absolutely LOVES kids. It drives me insane when people go on and on about how mean they are and that they need to be banned. They are not all mean. Its how they are raised. Just like any other dog!

People who think Pit Bulls are "AGGRESSIVE" should do a bit of research on other breeds first. Like Golden Retrievers and Labs, there are more bites every year from these dogs than Pit Bulls, and these bites for some reason don't make it to the news because the dogs are the typical family dog. I know of a 110LB Pit Bull that plays with KIDS, DUCKS AND OH YEAH A CHINCHILLA!! I have been a dog trainer and seen more aggressive chihuahuas than Pit Bulls.

I have been bitten by a schnauzer, and a min pin, to say that these dogs have a tendency to bite, or however more dangerous is the equivalent to saying that all black people are more prone to violence than any other race, it simply is false. These dogs are strong breeds...no such thing as naturally aggressive....just naturally protective and territorial...I have a Rottweiler and when I got him as a pup he was very bossy....he used to nip at my hands and not listen to me...only until "I bit him" and scared him a little...he began listenening to me...just gotta show them whose boss...my rotweiller has grown up to be obiedient and very friendly...no sign of aggression...u just gotta show ur dog his place in the pack

I love this video, I have a pit and raised him from 6 weeks old they are the best dogs ever. Raise them correctly and you have a loving loyal friendly child safe pet and friend. It doesn't matter big or large dogs to smaller dogs or animals. It is the owners responsibility who must decide as how they want there pets to behave or interact (socialize) with breeds or people. Everyone has there own opinion as to what or why dogs act the way they do. Some make sense other doesn't. But no real proof.

I've grown up with pitbulls all my life. Mixed, pure bred, American, blue nose, red nose, all of them have had different personalities. How they act towards humans and other animals all depends on how they were brought up, just like humans. If you were brought up by terrible guardians, you'd be pretty messed up wouldn't you? If you were brought up by good guardians, you'd be nice wouldn't you? Same thing applies to dogs, regardless of breed. Simple as that. Is it really that hard to understand?

I rescued 2 pit bulls about a year ago and they are the biggest sweetest babies ever! my dogs had been abused and severely neglected when i rescued them but because I put in the effort to be a strong, calm leader for them, they are the most obedient loving dogs Ive ever had...they also get along well with my parent's 2 dogs, a rotty and a german shepherd, all mixed gender. Bad Owners MAKE Bad Dogs, no matter what the breed.

They can be used for finding narcotics and bombs, used for therapy, Search and Rescue, and what does it seem like owners use them for? Fighting could be one, and also just to look cool or tough. You can raise a chihuahua to terrorize and hate people. We were terrorized by my uncles because it was plain mean, my uncle rescued him and he only liked my uncle. He only lived 2 more years , then passed away. When my uncle found him, he was starved and beaten, poor thing. It's how you raise an animal not it's breed. I am a veteran that suffers from PTSD and have been prescribed s service dog. I chose a Pit. I am thankful that God created such an animal to show such unconditional love. I work in a grooming salon and I can honestly say that 99% of the pit bulls who come in are wonderful dogs. I've been bitten quite a few times at work, and most of them were from chihuahuas! I'm not saying chihuahuas are a bad breed either, but people who own them think they're fashion accessories and don't put time into training them. The worst bite I ever got was from a border collie! The problem is people who get dogs without thinking through the effort they need to put into training.

Any dog can have swelling of the brain if bred incorrectly. In actuallity spaniels such as king and charles spaniels have the most recorded brain swelling (even when bred correctly) last time I checked; but things could've changed since a few years ago. Usually (not always) brain swelling causes things such as paralysis and seizures rather than violence.

I was never a fan of Pits (because of all the horrible stories), until I "inherited" a 9wk old puppy.I did a lot of dog watching and people watching regarding this breed. when i took him on walks people literally 2-3 blocks away would cross the street. I KNOW in my experience, NOT BAD DOG, BAD OWNER. If you do not educated those around you about the dog (no matter the breed) then people will not know how to act around them (or any animal for that matter)

Funny, how people who have never owned a Pit, can tell you all about them, how bad they are, etc. I had a boss who tole me how bad they were. I told him I grew up with them, and been around them all my life, and currently had one. He told me that they would eventually attack me which never happened.. My son's pit may look tough, but is the sweetest dog, anyone would ever want to know. My chicuacha chased him home one day. Funniest thing I ever saw a dog do.

You know I have never owed a pitt, but I think they are a wonderful and beautiful breed. Ever since I was little my parents told me to be careful around them. Not because they will attack you just like that, but the fact that I didn't know how the were brought up. I have been around pitts and none have ever been mean towards me or my children. The thing about Pit bulls is not that they're "born" aggressive.
However, it is very well known that they have a tendency to "snap", not due to their aggressive murderous intent, but rather due to a physiological structure.
A pit bulls cranium is very tight around the cerebral area, which causes the brain to swell at some points, and when the brain swells, the dog experiences something close to being "light headed" or just in pain, and so it feels threatened- and some cases, it "snaps".

If you ever think that pits are naturally aggressive dogs, just think about this: a lot of the bait dogs used in dog fighting rings are other pits. If they're such a vicious breed why don't the bait dogs fight back?

I've heard that of dobermans before and don't know how true it is, but my pit i introduced to lots of people and other dogs as a puppy. i got rid of her sep anxiety by throwin my shirt from yesterday in her cage when i went to work. i pretended to eat her food when i fed her. if you treat any dog right, they will be loyal. if you tie a dog to a treadmill for 6 months and feed it cottage cheese and gunpowder, the dog will be vicious. you influence the dogs mentality

@TheWarloghe There are many other dog breeds that have a worst temperament. For instance a Chow Chow which looks fluffy and huggable are the worst for children, they generally don't tolerate much and are quick to bite. But you don't see people fighting Chow Chows, which is why they don't get a bad reputation.
Pits are very social and have low temperaments, it's the assholes that abuse them that give Pits a bad rep.
BTW .... NO LARGE ANIMAL SHOULD BE LEFT ALONE WITH SMALL KIDS!!!

Also, I demand a citing of sources, show me the scientific or veterinary journal where a study concluding this theory has been published and who performed the study. 2. Other breeds have been blamed for decades for the behavior that pitbulls are being blamed for today. Bloodhounds, dobermans, danes, rottweilers, it changes about every ten years.

@TheWarloghe There is NO known tendency for a pitbull to have any form of brain swelling that may cause them to be lightheaded or anything else. If they are experiencing this problem you can bet your ass there is a medical issue that needs to be addressed! Secondly, Pitbulls (AKA...American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Terriers, Bull Terriers, and American Bulldogs) were originally bred in England for use as working dogs.

@TheWarloghe They were bred to pull carts for farmers hence the massive chest and neck area for placing the harness on. The term "pitbull" was not given to these breeds until the early 19th century when noblemen began to fight these, and other large dogs, in pits for sport. Hence the name "pit" and the bull portion came from the cross with the English bulldog...pitbull.

@ThisIsBigKevin This information has been scientifically proven false. Your information and wherever you are getting it from, is complete bunk. A pit bulls cranium is the same size as a normal dogs. The build and the square shape you see is from muscle, the muscles that go from the jaw to the top of the head is bigger in a pit bull than it is in most other dogs, giving them the square look. There is nothing special about their skulls.

This is absolute nonsense. Pit bulls don't "snap" for no reason, any more than any other breed. An individual dog can be ill, poorly-trained or undersocialized, or it can have any number of reasons for "snapping" that the humans around it are too ignorant to understand. I work at a Humane Society, and 99% of all bite incidents that we see (with pit bulls or any other breed) fall into that last category.

Ok, so I love how all these pitbull owners are showing there dogs on youtube like with their kids and are loving and all that other stuff. However, all of the pits on youtube are trained and are brought up well-mannered by their owners. It's the pitbulls in the ghetto and low income neighborhoods that are causing the most problem. The pitbulls that society is mad at is the ones who are not properly trained by their owners or who are not trained at all that is causing the problem.

"born" naw.. People make them into killers. Truth is..some are bred to be killers..but that whether or not they are depends on the owner. If you raise them to love, they will love and vice versa. I like pits but I do think they CAN be dangerous just a little more than you average dog. Make no mistakes, every dog has the capacity and ability to harm you just as bad as a pit...it's just a question of which is more likely.

My neighbour has three and they're the best dogs around. Kind of ironic, since people say they're killers. When I have enough money and when I live on my own (still at high school), then I am sure that I want to get a pitbull. They're beautiful, sweet and very very loyal. I really LOVE pitbulls!

American Pit Bull terriers are probably one of the most misunderstood dog breeds ever, any dog can be vicious and attack people that trait alone doesn't solely belong to the APB breed...
With that being said APBs are one of the most affectionate breed of dogs ever.

I am a big fan of Pit Bull protection. The breed is misunderstood. I heard someone state them as "High Maintenance Dogs" because they need strong sense of training and very early socialization. I think this is accurate. If you are not ready to live with a high maintenance breed, don't get one. That way the good pit bull owners can shine and people who neglect them can be prosecuted correctly. This video just proves this point. These people are VERY dedicated and they have GREAT dogs.

I love pitbulls, I have a mixed breed kind so they're half and half with sharpeis. Most retain their pit bull looks, but others have the baggy skin. They're all loveable which I easily fall for those kind of dogs and just don't want to give them away. So as to my point, love the way your dogs look, wish to have ones like that for my family when I move out or something like that.
