Beautiful plane, I never flew a twin but that sound is really cool. I have enough trouble keeping one engine running right I think I will stay clear of the twin.

do you recommend this plane for someone totally novice? I mean, is it really difficult to fly without experience?

@txopenjauer its not hard to fly, its just a litlle more complex with twin engines. I would not really recommend it for someone just starting out flying. But people have done it. Good luck on your choice's and thanks for your comment..Tim

It's good that your bird is doing okay. I'm still working on my Royal Cessna 310Q now I have to find a couple of engines to fit the nacelles. Fox used to make engines that would fit but I don't think they are in business anymore. Take care and keep flying.

I don't find too many people who enjoy models and general avaition. I only wish I could have been to the airshow commemorating the Tuskegee Airmen of WWII. I watch your Cessna 310 build-up 1,2, and 3 including your maiden flight repeatedly. If you can slow down the retract cycle alittle, it would look super realistic in flight. Take care and keep flying.

I remember seeing a classic 310 model with the tuna tanks. It wasn't as big as the Top Flite model you demoed but I'm doing a search to see if I can find out the name of the company that manufactured it and the dimensions of this model.

I always liked the 310. Even the first production model in 1954. You think you can put that nose gear fender on your 310 or is it a hassle to fit in and work in the retract cycle? But once again that is an outstanding model you created.

Also... The 310 likes to be flown onto the deck. Be careful trying for a stalled greaser. As you saw, when she's done flying, she's really done!

Tim, Nice flight. Love the Pylon turns. She must have felt really good as that was a pretty fast and aggressive maiden flight.

Remember... If you loose and engine, FLY THE PLANE. It still flies without power! I have seen too many twin crash because they concentrate on the engines, forget to fly the plane causing a drop in airspeed resulting in a perfectly good airplane stalling and crashing directly over a giant runway!
