Ive got the hot hand and getting the Soundblox Pro BEF, So how would the Source Audio stuff and the Behringer pedals sound together? Like, with the hot hand adding more wobbles w/ the LFO of the pedal.
@JaymzMcMullen no I know, this is just when I first got it working, it sounds a lot better when I tune down a lot and fix up the amp settings, in the video I was just using my practice amp, it sounds legit when it's tuned down and played through a nice stack
@JaymzMcMullen dubstep is not produced with bass guitar for the bass sounds. a lot of people are working on doing low-frequency modulation for dubstep-like sounds, as he said in the video. this allows the use of live analog instrumentation for electronic music performance.
@MonkeysOnRiot Really that's good news, usually things for guitar used by bass end up gettin screwed up, so it's good to know. Have you seen Source Audio's soundblox collection and there "hot hand", although this is a cool set up the hot hand looks like it's more controllable for wobs and stuff, I think they're really expensive though, i found them while looking for guitar synths seeing if anything would replicate this, but since i can use it for both it's good and cheaper.
@21Assasin I've actually been looking into the "hot hand" and it looks pretty cool. The synth and expression pedal in this video was just my first idea.
@MonkeysOnRiot It'd be my first idea too, the "hot hand" alone is $99 and it only works on the other source audio stuff which is all $150+ I'd have to be very serious about doing live dubstep before I emptied my wallet lol. definately post some vids if you do get around to it though.
@minusjason Sounds normal to me, to be honest the only bass I've played was pretty nice and didn't sound much less clanky. I'm truly a guitarist though lol i only played bass on a whim for me and my friends band, so I for sure am no authority on that.
@21Assasin Yeah dude it's super clanky... that's why someone else was commenting to you to raise the action if you play that hard. It *might* be due to you coming from guitar and not having the bass touch yet, because I know a lot of guitarists do that when they try to switch to bass. It has little to do with how nice the bass is, and much more to do with how it's set up.
@minusjason True, I was also playing very low drop metal stuff and with a pick. like i said though don't really know much bass. The bass was an ibanez though i know for sure I'll try to find out which.....Ok yeah pretty sure it was the Ibanez SR1200e so it was pretty nice, especially to me lol I'm broke
@KeTeVemCovers You shouldn't get high before you video yourself. I make the same mistake. Plan/script your vids better. And get the action raised on your guitar if you play that hard.
@drewgp111 yeah haha wow there's always these two haters that put two dislikes on almost every video i put up, like they're subscribed just to dislike my videos, how immature haha
Must i only make a cable from the EXP of the Syntheziser to the Expression Output?
And i need a stereo or monocable?
And do you play on the CM or NORM Mode?
Sorry when some mistakes are in my English,i'm from Germany.
