The music sounds alot like the music for "I'm My own Grandpa", so this song may be a parody of that song. Wikipedia doesn't say that, so you have to listen to the song to find out if it is a parody of another song or not.
Well, it sounds like that TO ME THEN! And I didn't say it WAS a parody, I said it MIGHT be! And Wikipedia doesn't say that it is a parody of that song.
Relax. I was just trying to be funny. I didn't mean any offense. Actually, I was wrong. This song came AFTER "I'm My Own Grandpa", which was written in 1947. This is not a parody, though.
Wow, i went to one of his concerts a year or two ago and looking this it's amazing to see how much lower budget his were back then. He's risen so much in popularity over the years. Plus he's only gotten better.
thank you. i had this on a mix tape my sister made for me years ago and i can't seem to find the album it's from, but at least i can come here to listen, and smile at how much Al seems to enjoy it as well. :)
I don't get it...sometimes you hear the crowd chearing like crazy, and other times they're dead silent...do they not like most of Al's songs? Or did the person recording have a crowd filter that got turned on and off throughout the show?
Quite possibly the best al song ever

Awesome song - it cracks me up how people overlook how good a song-writer Al is just because it's always parody.

I really hope you are kidding. This came out WAY before I'm My Own Grandpa. Not to mention, it sounds NOTHING like I'm My Own Grandpa.

I like how Weird Al sounds so good live,
But all these other so called "Great" Muscisians SUCK.
Like Lil Wayne. Have you actually LISTENED to his lyrics? They make NO sense, and he sounds like CRAP Live.
I love Al.
