they say the modern tango slowed down because the bandoneon needed slower music to be played well by the people just beginning to learn it..I think it was introduced around 1850..(The bandoneon) Before, the music was quite different...

These two have an air of understated 'class' and intimacy in their dancing. I really enjoyed this video, along with the Rodriguez and Copello versions of 'Poema'. This was nicely photographed and well directed. Bravo!
