My few comments below refer to the show at the Lehanmore Centre, Nr.Dursey at the westerly end of the Beara Peninsula, Sat night, 13th March 2011. It was a sell-out and more. We so hunger for good theatre here; bring on more. Anybody who has a chance to see this play of Nervous System's in some other venue and doesn't, is passing up a life-changing experience. J O'Connor
It was so riveting to see, to hear, to feel, such wonderful new theatre ideas being exercised - and by a super-talented cast. It leaves me stimulated, even disturbed - Mariá's hauntingly beautiful, powerful Gallician singing, the imaginative weaving scene and the final, searing but lovely Irish caoineadh/wake are especially locked into my consciousness. Thank you (and Ecke for the idea) for such a great night in the 'most westerly theatre in Ireland' - and all for a tenner! What can you say?
