  • Thanks, MortalFrog. You lucky guy. Give her regards from the old guy at the Saskatoon, Skatchuan, Canada, seminar about 15 years ago. I still have the CD case of Streicher and Spitznagel, but unfortunately not the CD. It was one of the best double bass CDs ever.

  • Let's hear some Spitznagel stories. What a fabled past with the fabulous Herr Professor Ludwig Streicher!!!! What a team of consumate musicians. I hope she is also teaching collaborative piano techniques to others, What university is she now with and who is your professor, MortalFrog08?

  • @RMartin973 it's the university of music and performing arts in vienna "MDW"! she's the accompanist for the trombone class of otmar gaiswinkler, he's my professor! she's also teaching me the piano, she's a wonderful teacher...

  • she's my accompanist at university! she's amazing...

  • I had the pleasure of hearing Streicher and Spitznagel (a flutist and virtuoso collaborative accompanist who could play and transpose accompaniments for bass literature on the spot withoutout reference to the piano parts!)
