Does anyone know the proper technique to do that without accidently shitting your pants? I've tried butt plugs, but they are no match. They usually wind up getting spit out at dangerous speeds and I'm forced to spend the next 20 minutes dodging poo stained butt plugs stuck in a dangerous ricochet... Get back to me, guys.

@Caroo2 That's because there is NO practical application for a C6. (That I can think of) However, he hit the C6 AND had vibrato, which means he can probably hit an F5 with ridiculous ease. If his mix and chest is as strong as his head voice, he should be an excellent singer.

@AtariMaxiToriyama there are plenty of high powerful falsetto notes like jeff buckley's gunshot glitter D#6 just because a note is strong doesnt mean ts not falsetto because its not like he is doing a vocal slide in full voice from C5 to C6 he is just jumping from C5 up an ocatve to C^ and look at the strain to hit the note like caroo 2 said this guy is screaming because ive heard plenty of metal high notes and all were more controlled than this

I'm sure if he sang in a more comfortable range, he would sound great. But when it gets to the fifth octave, it's really strained. I'm surprised his larynx didn't shoot out of his mouth on that C6.

That's pretty amazing that you can hit a C6 in head voice! After lots of practice, I can hit a C6 too, but NOT in head voice... only in falsetto/whistle, and certainly not many people can
@banglinh222 No, it is falsetto which sounds like head voice but it is lighter, more forward and is disconnected from the other voices. Also it can usually go higher than head voice but can't go low like head voice can. Majority of people cannot sing in whistle register, not because it takes effort but because it takes special placement to discover your whistle voice if you don't have a voice type that makes it easy to have whistle, as some do and some don't

It sounds to me like you are singing those notes in whistle, because whistle is usually a tiny voice and takes extended technique to make it louder or fuller. However, it is still possible that you are hitting those notes in head voice. If I heard u sing, I could tell what voice
@banglinh222 ok, falsetto is cords wide open, whistle is cords almost closed, which feels tighter and is very hit and miss unless you practise everyday , i can hit higher notes in whistle, but they are quiet and lack power, so i am learning to extend my falsetto, which is what i feel this guy is doing, so brett mannings whistle is nice but very weak , its a different way of using the vocal cords, adducting them close and squeezing small amounts of air through obviously wont give a lot of power
he is changing form his normal range to a thing call his whistle range whitch is more like screaming .......id like to see him do that with a vrabato and alot quieter because if you have to scream to hit the notes then its not in your range

I'm sure if he sang in a more comfortable range, he would sound great. But when it gets to the fifth octave, it's really strained. I'm surprised his larynx didn't shoot out of his mouth on that C6.

@stardusth2o I do understand what you're saying, he IS singing though. He has to sing loudly to achieve that C6 XD But this video isn't about how he sounds when in a lower octave, this video is showing that (if needed) he can sing in the 6th octave.

That's pretty amazing that you can hit a C6 in head voice! After lots of practice, I can hit a C6 too, but NOT in head voice... only in falsetto/whistle, and certainly not many people can

@banglinh222 No, it is falsetto which sounds like head voice but it is lighter, more forward and is disconnected from the other voices. Also it can usually go higher than head voice but can't go low like head voice can. Majority of people cannot sing in whistle register, not because it takes effort but because it takes special placement to discover your whistle voice if you don't have a voice type that makes it easy to have whistle, as some do and some don't

@okebaram because i heard that from Brett Manning, that whistle is the extension of headvoice, just like vocal fry is the extension of chest voice...anyway, the reason i care about this is that i'm practicing to hit those high notes, and right now i can hit with a very small voice and it strains if i make it loud. and now i heard you say that, i'm confused if i'm using headvoice or whistle and if i'm practicing in a right way or not

@banglinh222 whistle is actually an extension of falsetto, not an extension of head voice. However, falsetto is not bad like some claim, and so using falsetto, with the same principles of good technique, is also cool. It sounds to me like you are singing those notes in whistle, because whistle is usually a tiny voice and takes extended technique to make it louder or fuller. However, it is still possible that you are hitting those notes in head voice. If I heard u sing, I could tell what voice

@banglinh222 ok, falsetto is cords wide open, whistle is cords almost closed, which feels tighter and is very hit and miss unless you practise everyday , i can hit higher notes in whistle, but they are quiet and lack power, so i am learning to extend my falsetto, which is what i feel this guy is doing, so brett mannings whistle is nice but very weak , its a different way of using the vocal cords, adducting them close and squeezing small amounts of air through obviously wont give a lot of power

not 2 octaves at all. sounds like a sort of falsetto, like was axl rose does. falsetto with a rough edge to it.

@SpikyPeahorn yer but, this guy switches to this voice when he has to go high, his voice changes from normal to it then back to normal, by the way i appreciate you replying, i watched this guy in pub last week, he sang shook me all night long, i thought he had a pedal as the double voice was very prominent, he was not forcing it either, it was like a low popeye voice with a high whistle tone backing it, freak i tell you , hes one of a kind.....
