For all those who think the sitar is out of tune, yes it is. It is not classically tuned, it's an alternate tune setting. it's CCC, GC1/8#CF, and GG#GCC#DEFGG#E
Tuned to play in the scale of E so that guitarists can play with me without getting bewildered from the scale.
My sitar isn't in a classical tune setting. I tune it like vilayat khan's style, except instead of 6 strings, I use the second string as a sympathetic to the 3rd. But I keep it slightly sharp so that the strings underneath will resonate with both sides.
This is my own tonic. Not to be confused with any other style.
I know this isn't rag bilival, sorry, now i don't have the original footage of all this, so I'm unable to really change the title in the video. Just gonna have to live with it. Sorry folks!
