  • Beautiful song! Thanks for sharing

  • MORE VIDEOS OF GREENLAND, OK

  • What a music

  • Danish/norwegian musiciens who produced an album called "Thule Spirit". An original northern greenlandic chant. Obviously the style is very romantic and non-greenlandic... But the song is an ancient story about a single elderly woman who adopted a small polar bear, but when the polar bear get older it got "killed" by polar bear hunters... A sad story cause the single woman has only the bear to provide or food - excistence... There are no polar bears in Kangerlussuaq, south greenland.

  • THANK YOU

  • its amazingly beautiful, the truly most best place in the world-jeg elsker gronland! :) the temperaturees reacherd the coldest about -40 degrees in march 2009 which i suppose is warmer than it previously has been because of global warming. but ikt might just be a myth. but honestly if you havent been there make sure you do! its more bautiful than any beach holiday destenations! :) x

  • fantastico video de kanger, habra que volver en invierno, para sentirlo realmente

  • I was stationed at Sondrestrom Air Base in 1971. The base was much colder then than it is now. It's still a beautiful place.

  • Much colder? The temperature reached -46,7°C in February 2008...

  • In Jan 71 the lows were -50F every day. We used to joke about it. There are many days much warmer than that in 2009. The highs every day were -30F. I was shocked when I saw how much warmer it is now. The warmest day in July 71 was around 50F. Have a good day.

  • Try Atlantic Music ApS at atlanticmusicshop(dot)gl. They carry the biggest selection of Greenlandic music. I just got a CD from them this week by a new Greenlandic artist named Kimmernaq. She's awesome!
